Prosecutors are asking for an extra 18 months in jail for Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who faces sentencing Monday after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter over the death of Halyna Hutchins.

Hutchins was accidentally shot dead during filming on the set of Rust in October 2021 when a gun Alec Baldwin was practicing with discharged live ammo that was the responsibility of Gutierrez-Reed.

Prosecutors blamed Gutierrez-Reed at a two-week trial for unwittingly bringing live ammunition onto the set of 'Rust' where it was expressly prohibited. They also said she failed to follow basic gun safety protocols.

The jury convicted her in March of involuntary manslaughter which carries a felony sentence of up to 18 months and a $5,000 fine.

They say Gutierrez-Reed, 26, has shown no remorse over her actions and used foul language to describe the jurors who convicted her and should have her sentence doubled.

Special prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis filed a response to a request by Gutierrez-Reed to be granted a conditional discharge by arguing she deserves the exact opposite.

Morrissey urged the judge to impose the maximum prison sentence and designate Gutierrez-Reed as a 'serious violent offender' to limit her eligibility for a sentence reduction later, describing the defendant's behavior on the set of 'Rust' as exceptionally reckless.

She said Gutierrez-Reed has shown a lack of remorse, citing comments by Gutierrez-Reed in phone calls from jail conversations with her mom, boyfriend and her attorney's paralegal that are monitored by authorities.

Those comments include referring to the jury that convicted her as 'a**holes,' 'idiots' and 'r*****s.'

They've also said that she wants Baldwin, who fired the gun that killed Hutchins, to go to jail as well and refuses to testify at his upcoming trial because 'she shouldn't be subpoenaed if Baldwin didn't show up for her.'

'Hannah wants them to put Alec Baldwin in jail also,' prosecutors added in the filing.

She has also tried to get her legal team to ask Hutchins' widower and son to speak on her behalf at her sentencing and been angry about how the conviction has hurt both her life and potential modeling career.

They say that she has done all this without ever 'expressing genuine remorse at any time' while claiming the witnesses who testified at trial are lying.

Gutierrez-Reed is also, prosecutors say, facing another felony charge for concealing a firearm from the security staff at a bar in New Mexico.

'Upon successfully circumventing the security at the bar she went into the restroom and made a selfie video stating 'They checked my purse but they didn't cheek my butt cheeks! Wah, wah, wah,' the filing states.

She also claims that other inmates have told her: 'I can't believe they threw your pretty little white a** in here for nothing' and compared prison food to cat food.

Attorney Jason Bowles told NBC News in a statement that her legal team 'will be filing a reply most likely tomorrow.'

Gutierrez-Reed was convicted in March by a jury on a charge of involuntary manslaughter in the death of cinematographer Hutchins and has been held for more than a month at a county jail on the outskirts of Santa Fe.

Baldwin, the lead actor and co-producer for 'Rust,' was pointing a gun at Hutchins when the revolver went off, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza.

The 30 Rock actor has pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge and says he pulled back the gun's hammer, but not the trigger, before the gun went off.

His trial is scheduled for July before the same judge, Mary Marlowe Sommer, who oversaw the trail of Gutierrez-Reed.

Gutierrez-Reed could also receive a $5,000 fine.

After a two-week trial, the jury deliberated for about three hours in reaching its verdict.
