Eagle-eyed Bluey fans have noticed the beloved cartoon has introduced a queer couple for the first time.
In the season three final titled 'The Sign' some viewers noticed a subtle hint that Bluey's friend Pretzel has two mums.
A few minutes into the episode Pretzel said: 'When my guinea pig ran away, my mums told me he might come back, but he didn't.'
The quick plural reference to 'mums' went in and over the heads of most viewers, but not all.
Australian Bluey fan Margie raved about the inclusion of a LGBTQIA+ couple in a TikTok video, with many agreeing it was the 'one thing missing' from the show.

Describing it as a 'blink and you'll miss it' moment, Margie said she too didn't notice it at first.
'When I first watched the episode, I missed it. It wasn't until I went back, watched it with subtitles and actually listened that I noticed we have our first gay couple,' she said.
Margie also pointed out the subtitles show the plural 'mums' not the word 'mum', further confirming Pretzel has same-sex parents.
'I love it, I think it was a really nice and organic way to do it. It's really one of those subtle ones I feel like a lot of people will miss. But in general I thought they handled it really well,' she added.

It comes as Bluey fans were in a panic after being urged to re-watch five core episodes of the children's cartoon before the show's 'supersized finale' on April 14
While you don't see the couple in the episode the inclusion was praised by hundreds of others and spread like wildfire on social media.
'This makes me so happy,' one commented, another said: 'Finally! It's the only thing Bluey was missing.'
'I picked up on this but I needed to point it out to my wife. I'm glad it finally happened,' a third added.
'Loved how they put that in there so casually and organically,' another added.
