Caitlin Clark's WNBA Draft has shattered viewing figures, after an average of 2.45million fans tuned in to watch her get selected by the Indiana Fever.
Clark is a superstar of college basketball, and she will now take her talents to the WNBA, after being selected No. 1 overall in Brooklyn on Monday night.
The event was given TV prominence and shown live on ESPN, with an all-female panel taking basketball fans through the picks.
Now, it has been revealed that an average of 2.45m tuned in, which is quadruple last year's figures, and more than the last seven draft nights combined.
It is also the first time the WNBA Draft has drawn more than 1 million viewers, and it also flew past the TV figures of the MLB and NHL drafts in 2023, according to reports.

Last year's WNBA Draft also saw Indiana Fever pick first, with Aliyah Boston their selection, but there has been much more hype surrounding Clark this time around.
After becoming the NCAA's all-time top points scorer in her final season, she and Iowa just missed out on March Madness glory, losing to South Carolina in the national championship.
That said, it was not a surprise to see Clark walk up on the stage first on Monday night, where she held up her Indiana Fever jersey ahead of a hugely-anticipated first season as a pro.
The 22-year-old is expected to make her league debut against the Connecticut Sun on May 14
Fans were shocked to find out how much money she'll earn in her debut season, though, after it was revealed her contract will pay just $76,535.
Super Bowl winner Justin Reid called it a 'robbery' on his social media, while other fans likened the amount to a 'Draymond Green fine'.
She will, of course, rake in plenty more cash from endorsements, and she already has big-money NIL deals from her days in college.
Clark's Fever jersey also sold out very quickly and become Fanatics' best-ever seller on draft night - with stocks wiped out in just two hours after she was selected.
