Jason Kelce claims he and Lane Johnson only discovered the full extent of their WrestleMania cameo roles two hours before the show got underway this month.
Kelce and former Eagles teammate Johnson stunned fans when they emerged from the crowd at WrestleMania 40 - WWE's annual showpiece event.
The pair initially donned Mexican wrestling masks while attacking Dom Mysterio in his tag-team match against legendary father Rey, before revealing their identities to the crowd in Philadelphia.
After helping Rey and tag-team partner Andrade claim the win over Dom and Santos Escobar, Kelce ripped off his shirt and climbed up on the turnbuckle as all four men celebrated the victory.
The retired NFL legend opened up on his WrestleMania appearance on the latest episode of his and brother Travis' New Heights podcast, describing the feeling of performing in front of 80,000 fans as 'pretty awesome'.

Kelce and ex-Eagles teammate Lane Johnson enjoyed cameo roles at the WWE showpiece
He revealed on his New Heights podcast that he and Johnson only found out the full extent of their roles two hours before
Kelce's brother Travis joked that the pair 'looked like a tag team nobody wanted to f**k with'
Travis concluded about his double act with Johnson: 'You guys looked like a tag team nobody wanted to f**k with.'
Despite agreeing to feature in the show long before, Jason was unaware of the exact roles he and Johnson would enjoy when he made his way to Lincoln Financial Field that night.
'We knew that we were gonna be involved with these masks, but we didn't really find out the full extent until pretty much two hours before the show,' he revealed. 'There's a backstage area where you're figuring stuff out.
'We knew we were on Rey's team, they didn't have to tell us that. So from there it was just operation get it done.'
Travis then joked about the 5ft 6in wrestling icon: 'I thought Rey Mysterio was gonna be way smaller. You and Rey Mysterio are the exact same size.'
Back in January, Jason also whipped off his shirt while in the stands watching Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs' playoff game against the Buffalo Bills, with his shirtless celebrations going viral on social media.
And he couldn't resist doing the same at WrestleMania, despite not wanting to steal American comedian Bert Kreischer's shtick.
'I think Lane wanted to take his shirt off, so then I ripped mine off like the Hulkster [Hulk Hogan],' Jason added.
Jason admits he couldn't resist the urge to rip off his shirt like wrestling legend Hulk Hogan
'I was trying to keep my shirt off because I feel like I'm stealing Bert Kreischer's bit - and I don't want to steal your bit Bert.
'But I feel like this was an acceptable time to have your shirt off.'
Both Jason and Travis were WWE fans as kids, with the pair naming Rey Mysterio as one of their favorite wrestlers growing up.
The Chiefs star concluded about his brother's appearance in Philadelphia: 'It was fun as hell watching you up there knowing that we used to f**k around as WWE jabronis as kids man.
'It was cool to see you up there having some fun.'
