Caitlin Clark playfully struck a deal to become a regular guest on the Pat McAfee show on Wednesday morning.
Two days earlier, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star got selected by the Indiana Fever with the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft. Clark's future with the Fever brings her close to McAfee and crew, who film the show at the ThunderDome studio in Indianapolis.
Clark appeared on the program and joked about being a weekly guest as she gears up for the move.
'I think I'll be moving here in like a week,' Clark said. 'I'll be like a weekly guest here, I guess, if you want me.'
'Deal,' McAfee exclaimed. 'You brought it up. That is binding.'

Pat McAfee played along and told the No. 1 pick that her bringing up the deal made it 'binding'
After jokingly agreeing to the arrangement, McAfee thanked Clark for stopping by amid a busy week. He also expressed his excitement towards the amount of young talent in Indiana's sports teams.
'As you get the chance to go home, finally, and breathe - we appreciate you stopping here,' McAfee told the Fever's newest acquisition. 'With you, Tyrese [Haliburton], and Anthony Richardson as the three young faces of this city, we're sitting in a beautiful place.
'We hope you enjoy your time in Indy,' he continued. 'These people are great. They are gonna love you.'
Clark heads to Indiana following a legendary collegiate career that brought viewership and attendance for women's basketball to new heights. During her last two years as a Hawkeye, Clark led the team to back-to-back championship game appearances before losing to LSU and South Carolina, respectively.

Despite failing to cap off her NCAA career with a title, Clark's senior year will be one to remember, as she averaged 31.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game.
Her final campaign with Iowa was also highlighted by breaking Pete Maravich's all-time NCAA scoring record on March 3. In a game against Ohio State, Clark surpassed Pistol Pete's 3,667 career points by reaching 3,685.
The Fever drafted a generational talent and hopes Clark can lead them to the Playoffs for the first time since 2016. Indiana finished last season as the sixth team in the Eastern Conference with a 13-27 record.
