Popular YouTube star Abhradeep 'Angry Rantman' Saha has died at the age of 27, following complications from a 'major' surgery.

The YouTuber, who lived in India, passed away on April 17 following complications from an unspecified 'major surgery' in March, according to a series of posts from his family posted on his YouTube Community page.

Abhradeep's death was confirmed by his family in a statement posted to his social media accounts.

'With profound grief and sorrow, we hereby declare the sad and untimely demise of Abhradeep Saha AKA #AngryRantman today at 10:18 hrs IST,' the statement read.

'He touched the lives of millions with his Honesty, humour and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The statement continued: 'As we mourn his loss, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and hold on to the cherished memories we share together. Inspiring change one rant at a time.'

The family had been updating fans about his condition as he recovered from surgery.

'Surgery went well just post surgery complications let’s all pray for his recovery god bless!!!'  Abhradeep's family wrote at the time. 

In early April, they updated fans on the influencer's condition revealing he was in the intensive care unit.

'Let’s hope for the best,' they wrote on his YouTube community page.

On April 14, they updated fans saying he was in a 'really critical situation.'

'He is in a really critical situation with life saving support System, Pray for a Faster Recovery,' the post read.

Sadly, the 27-year-old's condition didn't improve, with his loved ones sharing he had been placed on life support and was in critical condition

Abhradeep, who had 128,000 followers on Instagram and 487,000 on YouTube, rose to fame for his sports analysis videos, specifically soccer and cricket.

Abhradeep, who was also famous for his love of the Chelsea Football Club, shot to fame in 2017 after his analysis of the India Vs Australia cricket match went viral.

Many sports teams have shared their condolences for the popular video creator.  

'Today, we mourn the loss of one of the most enthusiastic and passionate voices in Indian football,' Kerala Blasters FC wrote on X.

'We will dearly miss his memorable rants and love for the beautiful game.'

'The BFC family is saddened to learn about the passing of #IndianFootball faithful Abhradeep Saha,' Bengaluru FC shared in an online post.

'A West Block Blue through and through, Abhradeep's love for the game knew no bounds and the passion in his rants will be missed. Rest in peace.'

Tom Overend, the runs the website ‘TheChelsSocial,' posted a heartfelt message for the longtime Chelsea fan to social media.

'RIP Abhradeep Saha, aka Angry Rantman. His rants were iconic to us all, but I think fewer people know just how kind and generous he was beyond his content,' the post read.

'Proper Chelsea fan, and a genuinely phenomenal and brilliant human being.'

Abhradeep had been absent from his social media accounts for around a month, with many fans sharing their concerns and well-wishes on old videos and posts.

Thousands have paid tribute to the YouTube star, some requesting his family keep his page up.

'Please don't delete this channel, we want to see his videos and remember him for the joy he brought to our faces every time with his humour,' one fan wrote.
