Savannah Chrisley has opened up about the last moments with her parents, Todd and Julie, before they headed to prison after being found guilty of taking part in a $30 million tax fraud scheme.
The reality star, 26, spoke to Juju Chang on Good Morning America, opening up about how her family is coping with the change, as her parents appeal their sentences in a federal appeals court.
Savannah recalled what it was like to say goodbye to Todd, 54, and Julie, 51, when they went to jail.
'Just watching them stand at their bedroom just hugging and kissing and not knowing,' Savannah, who recently appeared on the Masked Singer, shared.

'You just hear 12 years, seven years - that's a long time to be away from someone,' the podcaster pointed out.

'It was an unspoken thing,' she said. 'We just knew.'
The Chrisley Knows Best star said their family had been adjusting to their new normal by going to therapy.
'Both kids are in therapy every week,' she explained. 'Unfortunately, they have to grow up a lot faster.'
'I would rather help teach them what's going on in the right way than have the world interject and maybe teach them something that isn't factual,' she added.
The Chrisleys are appealing aspects of their convictions and sentences in a federal appeals court in a Friday hearing, which their attorney Alex says is a small victory.
'It means the judge is taking this serious. They're digging into the record,' he said.
In the meantime, Savannah says she motivates herself by 'replaying the image of my parents coming home.'

Todd was sentenced to 12 years and wife Julie was given seven years behind bars, heading off to prison in January 2023.
The stars rose to fame thanks to their USA reality show Chrisley Knows Best, which premiered in 2014 and documented their day-to-day lives alongside their children.
It went on for nine seasons before it was recently canceled amid the scandal.
Besides Savannah, the disgraced duo are also parents to Lindsie, 34; Chase, 27; Grayson, 17; and estranged son Kyle, 32.
In the series, Todd and Julie worked hard to portray the image of devoted parents and devout Christians.
But they saw their picture-perfect on-screen images ripped apart when it was brought to light that they had scammed the bank by submitting fake documents when applying for loans.
In addition, Todd's former business partner Mark Braddock shocked the world when he claimed that he had a gay love affair with the father-of-five during the trial - further shattering the reality star's long-cultivated reputation.
Todd and Julie are serving out their time at two separate facilities.
Todd is currently incarcerated in Pensacola, Florida.
Meanwhile, Julie is banged up in Lexington, Kentucky.
Savannah has become and advocate for better prison conditions after her father recently spoke out about the horrific conditions at his Florida prison.
