Megyn Kelly has revealed she voted for Donald Trump in the 2020 election after she 'really wrestled with it.'

The host of the ‘The Megyn Kelly Show' recalled her internal struggle before the 2020 election and emphasized her reservations about supporting the former president.

'I had a long contentious relationship with Donald Trump, you may be aware,' she said on Friday's episode of the show. 'And going into 2020, I didn't know whether I can pull the lever for him. I really didn't.'

'The world had shifted under our feet. It had gone crazy with DEI and with the trans ideology nonsense which was being shoved down my own kids throats at school. And I really wrestled with it.'

But when she saw that President Joe Biden released changes to Title IX - the 1972 law prohibiting sex discrimination in federally funded school programs - she was 'horrified' and relieved that she doesn't have 'blood on her hands.'

Now, she said there's 'no way in hell I will vote for Joe Biden'

'I voted for Donald Trump to prevent things like this,' she said.

The Biden administration released rules Friday that are expected to go into effect Aug. 1. which protect the rights of LGBTQ students and change the way schools can respond to allegations of sexual assault and misconduct.

It was a long-awaited response to campaign promises made by President Biden to reverse Trump-era regulations he said were 'silencing survivors.'

She continued to slam Biden's new Title IX changed - arguing that they are detrimental to women's rights, due process, and free speech on college campuses.

'What happened today, and when I saw the news on what Joe Biden just did to women's rights, and Title IX and due process for young men on college campuses and free speech, I was horrified. And my second reaction was at least I don't have this blood on my hands,' said Kelly.

Under the new rules, in-person, court-like proceedings for allegations of sexual assault — including cross-examination of alleged victims — are no longer required.

That rolls back Trump administration protections for accused students that victims' advocates say retraumatized survivors and discouraged reporting.

Schools will now have the flexibility to question witnesses in live hearings or in separate meetings. If a school chooses to hold a live hearing, alleged victims have the right to attend remotely.

'I'm ashamed of him! I'm disgusted at you, Miguel Cardona! Shame on you! What's happened today as a result of the change in Title IX is that your daughter or you – if you are a college age woman – will now have to go into your college bathroom, your college locker room and be faced with men posing as women, many of whom are only there because they get off on wearing women's clothing,' said Kelly.

'They literally will have erections because they're wearing a dress into the women's locker room. Your kid's gonna have to look at it, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Nothing!'

Kelly said that after the current administrations changes to Title IX, 'There's no way in hell I will vote for Joe Biden or anyone who supports this abomination.'

'I don't care, I would vote for RFK Jr., I would vote for Trump. But I think Trump is the only answer. RFK Jr. is kind of weak on this issue, to be perfectly honest with you. But there is no way in hell I will vote for Joe Biden or anyone who supports this abomination' she said.

'It must be undone. Do not comply. The rules don't take effect until August. Don't comply. Don't use their language, protect your daughters. Fight. Protect your sons. Speak up. And the first step in all of that is understanding exactly what we're dealing with.'

Earlier this week, Kelly slammed Trump's ongoing hush money trial - describing it as 'disgraceful' and a humiliation to the United States.

It is the first time a former American president has faced a criminal trial.

Kelly said this broke a 250-year precedent and was an example of the legal system being used against an ex-president in what was a 'humiliation' of the country 'like she is a whore'.

The charges center on $130,000 in payments that Trump's company made to his then-lawyer, Michael Cohen.
