A bride has been slammed for dictating what colours guests should wear for her special day, branding her wedding 'beige'.
Betti Adams from Florida has been detailing the run-up to her wedding, including her homemade invitations, on Instagram.
But not everyone was happy to see that the bride-to-be included attire instructions for her guests - even requesting attendees to don particular outfits matching their colour scheme.
Sharing a picture of her husband gently painting four colours, including light pink, and various shades of brown and black, the invites instructed guests on what to wear to fit the theme.
Explaining why her fiancé had to paint each card by hand, the future bride divulged that 'not one single printer' could capture their colour scheme accurately enough.

However, the now-viral video, which has amassed over 9.1 million views, has not gone down well with many online.
Several harsh critics flooded her comment section, slamming the bride and her wedding calling it 'sad' and 'beige'.
'If you can't bear the margin of error at the printer, how are you going to react when someone's dress is a close but not exact match?'
A second penned: 'So not only are sad beige moms a huge thing now, but sad beige weddings?'
'Expecting people to spend money on new outfits for your wedding colour scheme is rude,' a third chimed in.
A furious viewer wrote: 'This is so annoying your wedding is gonna be f****** dreadful.'
One woman added: 'People need to elope more, who cares what your guests wear to your wedding?
'Hope there's as my much thought going into making the wedding fun for guests as there is controlling the shade of brown they wear,' quipped another.
'The trend of telling people what to wear needs to quit.
'People attending your wedding aren't puppets there for your photo ops,' said one onlooker.
'I hope people decline to attend for that.'
According to news.com.au, the bride defended herself against the backlash, reasoning that the neutral tones were her calm colours.
She added: 'I didn't tell anyone to purchase anything. We wanted our guests to match the colours of the wedding.'
Several people came to the bride's defence, with many pointing out that colour schemes have long been an integral part of most weddings.
Sharing a video of her colour scheme instructions for her guests clothing, the bride-t-obe explained there was 'not one single printer' that could accurately capture the colours
People flooded the comments to slam the bride for her 'controlling' invites with one person quipping: 'I simply would not come'
'Wedding colour schemes have been a thing for so long why is everyone so confused,' exclaimed a user.
Another sarcastically penned: 'Oh no a woman is doing what she wants on her own wedding day.'
'The comments on this post are so hateful. She's paying to host her guests, she has a vision, she's trying to bring it to life, and it looks cute!'
Others fawned over her colour scheme, writing: 'Omg love the colour options I literally have something in every colour.'
A second chimed in: 'Is this so they can match their outfits directly to them?! You’re so smart.'
