It was a close call for beachgoers who narrowly escaped a landslide which came within metres of their 4WD.
Footage posted to social media showed sand, rocks and trees come crashing down from a cliff on Saturday afternoon at Double Island Point, just north of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
'Bit of a close call today at Double Island,' Riley Stone captioned the video on Instagram.

It comes after the same beach was closed due to landslides in January.
The cliff, which is around 70 metres tall, collapsed and blocked beach access for two days.
Department of Environment, Parks and Innovation have warned visitors avoid standing, sitting or parking near the base of the dunes.
Beach travel three hours either side of high tide is not recommended.
