In a Youtube video published Monday, Boosler, she said she believes the incident, which occurred during a daytime game against the New York Mets, took place because a 'power-hungry' security guard wanted to check out her baseball-themed purse.

The bag she brought with her to the game (pictured) was purchased from the online store Baseballaholic for $55.99
Boosler said when she was told her handbag, complete with red baseball stitching and a glove on the zipper, did not meet Dodger Stadium's policy for handbags, she was told she could either throw it away or put it back in her car.
The comic refused, saying she 'paid $50 to park a mile away, [it was] 80 degrees, and the tickets were $300 in the secondary market. She also told security that her ticket did not come with a disclaimer about the clear bag policy.
She said the situation became 'heated' when security continued to refuse Boosler access to the game.
'Unfortunately, that guy at the gate was that kind of guy with just a little bit of power, and that's the most dangerous…guys with a little bit of power, oh man, they get to use it,' Boosler said.
Boosler was denied access by the security guard, but at her request, the officer allowed her nephew and his 8-year-old child inside. He then threatened to have her arrested for trespassing if she did not leave the premises.
Her reply: 'Fine, arrest me.'
Boosler said she was 'handcuffed behind [her] back and to a bench' and taken by two officer who she described as 'very nice' to be formally charged with trespassing. She said that she believes she may have received special treatment from the officers because she was white.
She was taken to the Dodger Stadium office, where the team pressed charges.
'The guy wouldn't give up,' she said.
After waiting two hours, she was told she could leave the stadium and not be arrested, which she did.
Boosler concluded the video by commenting on how she thought she was poorly treated by the staff at Dodgers Stadium.
'Shame on you Dodger Stadium…you know me, [and] I've done so much free work for you for decades, and even if I wasn't me – if I was just a customer who was coming to the game – to be treated like that is so awful,' she said.
'You need to talk to your personnel, and you really need to get rid of 'that guy' with a tiny little bit of power who was definitely not a people person.'
The video has amassed 14,000 views since it was published.

Controversy aside, she missed a good game for Dodgers fans, as Los Angeles defeated the Mets 10-0.
In true comedic fashion, Boosler cracked jokes to the security who arrested her while being detained.
'They count all the cash in your purse and then you have to sign off on it,' she explained. 'They said, 'You have $371 cash in your purse' and I said, 'Well yes, we were planning on buying two hot dogs and a water.'
The Dodgers played the Mets on Sunday at home, with Boosler being temporarily detained
