Celine Dion has revealed that her wedding to her longtime manager, René Angélil, didn't go as picture-perfect as the stunning portraits made it appear.
In 1994, the then 26-year-old My Heart Will Go On hitmaker married late husband Angélil, then 52, and wore an elaborate headpiece that was adorned with 2,000 Swarovski crystals and weighed almost seven pounds.
In a new Vogue video, Dion, who revealed almost two years ago that she had stiff person syndrome, broke down her Life In Looks for the fashion bible and discussed how the hefty headpiece had to be sewn onto her head.
'No problem, I can manage the weight. And when you're so happy, there's no weight, there's no problem, there's no pain,' the 56-year-old legend said.

'We kind of rehearsed one time with the dress and the big veil and all that, and it was in a big ballroom and it was all made of like beautiful wooden floors.
'I practice and everything is smooth and everything is fine, but when I had to walk the cathedral, it has no wooden floor, it's carpet. I had an immediate facelift.
'I start to walk and... it's like, "Am I gonna make it? Am I gonna make it to my future husband?"... I did, so all night, all great, people happy.
'But when we removed that tiara, I had a cut because the pressure was too much. The next day I wake up, I look at myself in the mirror, I have the size of an egg in the middle of my forehead.
'I look at my husband and I said, "Ha, it's too late now, we're married". But it's so huge... I'm like, okay, let's go to the doctor. So I had to be an antibiotics for about three weeks.'
Paying tribute to her late husband, Angélil, who died of throat cancer in 2016 aged 73, Dion said she still felt 'his presence so much.'
'This is a moment that will be with me for the rest of my life,' she said.
'The [wedding] dress couldn't have been big enough. I could have had three times the size on my head.

'I could have had six different dresses that night because he was and he's still such a wonderful human being.
'He brought the best [out] of me, he really did.'
In the same video Dion also touched on her 'nerve-wracking' appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she presented Album Of The Year to Taylor Swift, but described it as a 'big honor' as well.
'That magic, that excitement to see the fans, to see the crowd, to see show business again. It took a lot, a lot out of me. But my son, Rene Charles, RC, came and gave me his support,' she recalled.
'And to present the award, the Album Of The Year to Taylor Swift, it's an honor because she's having the time of her life and I'm the one who's presenting it to her. But it's always very, very touching when you have a standing ovation.'

It wasn't until much later that the pair fell in love, and she revealed the news to fans in 1993 in the liner notes of her third English-language album, The Color Of My Love.
'I wrote a note behind my album,' Dion said, according to CNN.
'Rene is my love, I can't keep this secret inside of me anymore. It's getting too powerful. Let me paint a truth and show you how I feel. Rene, you are the color of my love.'
The next year, Dion and Angélil married in a church ceremony in Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica.
The couple went on to have three children: René-Charles Angélil, and twins Nelson and Eddy Angélil.
