Wolves have released a statement on social media denying that two of their players are the Premier League stars arrested for rape charges.
Two unnamed footballers, who are both 19 years old and play at the same club, were arrested over the weekend after the alleged victim reported the allegations to the police.
The incident is said to have taken place on Friday evening, with the victim's complaint filed hours later.
One player was reportedly spoken to by the police on suspicion of assault and aiding and abetting a rape at his club's stadium before he was formally arrested and detained overnight.
The second player was arrested the following day and questioned on rape charges. Both players have now been released on bail, pending further enquiries.

The Midlands side is the first to have broken its silence since news of the arrests broke on Tuesday evening, sharing that they were issuing a statement due to their concern over 'player welfare'.
'A newspaper article published yesterday has triggered inappropriate online speculation over the identities of two individuals reportedly under investigation,' the statement read.
'Whilst we would not typically comment on ongoing police matters, in order to protect the welfare of our young players, we feel it is necessary to confirm that the allegations do not relate to anyone at Wolves.'
Both players have since been suspended by their club while the investigation is ongoing.

'A 19 year-old man was arrested on Saturday (20 April) on suspicion of assault and aiding and abetting a rape. A second 19-year-old man was arrested on Sunday (21 April) on suspicion of rape.
'Both men have since been released on police bail.'
The club's spokesperson stressed that the club would 'not be making further comment at this stage'.
