A Texas-based office worker who has gone viral thanks to his upbeat videos showing his 'normal life' including his office routine, his recreation time as well as his vacations, has divided the internet.
The TikToker in question is 29-year-old Connor Hubbard, who posts online as Hubs.Life.
Many see Hubbard's life to be unbearably mundane, leading one X user to joke that the vlogger was 'stuck in the Matrix' while others see it as normal and fulfilling.
In one 1:20 minute long clip, which was re-shared on X, the Texas-native begins his day by showing and getting dressed for his office job, where he works in insurance at a Fortune 500 company.
The video has been viewed over one million times.
Once dressed, he prepares a protein shake to take on the commute to work, packs up his laptop and takes the trash out to the curb to be picked up and drives to the office, stopping at a donut shop on the way.

A typical scene from one of Hubbard's hugely popular videos
In another recent video, Hubbard is shown on vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands with his pregnant wife and high school sweetheart Mattie Swearingen on their babymoon.
According to his TikTok bio, Hubbard is about 'normalizing the norm.'
He elaborated on this viewpoint in an interview with the Dallas Observer in 2023.
'There is a false reality portrayed on today’s social media of what is considered normal and that is in order to be successful, you have to be your own boss, or that you can get rich quick,' he said.
'And what I’m saying is you can still be successful and still live a happy life with a normal job, working normal hours, and living a normal life.'
In one video, Hubbard reveals that he works as a senior benefit analyst and that he once took a year off to try and become a full-time videographer before going back to his original career.
'I'm just a normal guy that loves and has always loved creating content,' he says. During the interview, he maintains that he is a happy person despite the somewhat dour persona he puts forth.
At the time of writing, Hubbard has nearly 430,000 followers on TikTok and has generated over 17.5 million likes.
Hubbard has been with his wife, Mattie, since November 2011. The couple was married in 2021
While some thought his office job and routine seemed fine, other's declared it 'empty'
Hubbard went on to tell the Observer that he has two types of followers, younger people in high school or college who don't know about being adult. The other group is people who are also living a similar life to Hubbard's.
'Based on where you are at in your life impacts the way you perceive my content. Some see a happy good life, others see a sad miserable life. I see my life as a perfectly happy one,' he said.
He described his personal interests as golf and going to see live music in the Dallas-area.
Hubbard went on to say that he found it tough in the workforce in his first few years out of college.
'I did not know what I wanted to do or what I wanted in the future. It took a couple of tries before finding the right job for me. I am in a role now that provides a healthy work-life balance,' he said.
'I feel as we get older we learn to appreciate stability and a routine, so I think the sense of peace comes with time,' Hubbard continued.
The social media star has been with his wife since November 2011, according to a blog on their wedding website. From high school, both went on to study finance at Oklahoma State University.
The 29-year-old Dallas resident's routine has prompted a wave of horror from many online, with some declaring it to be: 'literally the saddest thing I’ve seen in a very long time'
Their blog reflects Hubbard's TikTok videos saying that the couple has a 'fun' and 'easy-going' relationship.
While many enjoy Hubbard's routine, some declared it 'empty,; with someone posting it to X writing: 'This is literally the saddest thing I’ve seen in a very long time.'
'Dude is able to afford to eat out three meals a day, only 10 min commute to work and only spends 6hrs a day at his desk. Seems like he is winning,' one X user pointed out.
'He has a good job. Three meals a day. Nice house. Dog. Why sad?' questioned another.
'This looks like a man living a fulfilled life why can’t people be happy with simplicity,' agreed someone else.
'Office work ain't my thing, but the dude has what appears to be a decent house in a decent neighborhood, a well-paying job, a happy dog, can afford to eat out whenever he wants, drives a nice vehicle, has a relationship with his mom, and is married,' another user pointed out.
'I'm not sure why that's sad.'
'People live in war-torn countries, and you think this is the saddest thing you've seen?' another said incredulously.
Some others couldn't believe that this man really lived this life.
'Wow. This is the emptiest life without any real purpose I've seen in a long time,' someone wrote in shock.
'Dude is trapped in the Matrix,' another declared.
