The King and Queen of Denmark put on a regal display in a series of newly released portraits.
Following the succession of the throne in January, the Danish royal household has released the first official gala portraits of Frederik, 55, and Mary, 52, which will hang on the walls of staterooms.
The image, taken by photographer Steen Evald in the royal reception room at Christiansborg Palace, showed Mary looking elegant in a green gown.
Mary and Frederik wore the Order of the Elephant on their chains - an order of chivalry and Denmark's highest-ranked honour.

Mary also wore Frederik's new portrait order, marking the first time the public has seen the order, which is reserved for female members of the Royal Family.
To accessorize, the mother-of-four donned the historic emerald parure, which is worn solely by queens and is part of the crown jewels.
The tiara's glistening emerald stones perfectly complemented Mary's bottle-green-toned dress.
The Queen kept her make-up glam with dark smoky eyes and styled her chestnut tresses in an updo.
Meanwhile, Frederik appeared in high spirits while gazing towards the camera in formal attire, complete with white gloves.
Taking to Instagram to reveal the new portraits, the Danish royal household said: 'In connection with the succession of the throne on 14 January 2024, the first official gala portrait of Their Majesties The King and Queen is now published.
'The portrait shows Their Majesties in gala with the Order of the Elephant on chains, and the portrait can henceforth be seen hung in, among other places, state institutions, including at Danish embassies and consulates around the world and on Danish vessels.
'The gala portrait was taken by photographer Steen Evald in the Green Room in The Royal Reception Rooms at Christiansborg Palace.

It comes after Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova spoke out for the first time since going into hiding following accusations of an affair with Frederick X last month.
The 47-year-old took to Instagram to thank people who have 'cared about her in the last year and shown her 'love and support'.
The TV star was forced to deny 'malicious rumours' she had an affair with the now King of Denmark after the pair were pictured on a night out together in Madrid in November.
Breaking her silence with a selfie alongside her adorable pet dog, she wrote: 'Hello everyone! Here I am back! I want to thank all the people who have cared about me this past year, those who have understood my absence and my silence, and those who have sent me messages of love and support'.
'You have no idea how much that meant to me.. Thank you very much!
'It's been a few months where I needed peace and quiet, but I'm already doing my best to slowly be able to return to my normal life and meet my work commitments.
'Once again, a million thanks! Taj and I are leaving you our best smile with some pictures from our walk this afternoon and wishing you all a very good night'.
It comes as Genoveva has been tapped up to appear on a Spanish reality TV show, El Desafío 5.
Her friends have also spoken to Spanish media, saying she has been 'travelling constantly on medical recommendation' to 'avoid the stresses of media pressures'.
Meanwhile, in February the royal couple announced their first royal tours together since becoming King and Queen
'She is crushed by everything that has happened and she cannot bear to relive it all. Physically she is very well, although thinner,' one friend told Hola!
Meanwhile, last month, the royal couple announced their first royal tours together since becoming King and Queen.
The pair will visit Sweden, Norway, Greenland and the Faroe Islands this summer.
Announcing their upcoming plans, the Palace's Instagram account confirmed that the King and Queen will travel on board the Royal Yacht Dannebrog.
In early May, the couple - who have been married for almost 20 years and share four children - will visit Sweden first.
The following week, Frederik and Mary will then undertake an official state visit to Norway.
The Palace also outlined plans for the King and Queen of Denmark to visit the Faroe Islands and Greenland in June and July.

However, the Firm highlighted that the dates for these two trips had not been confirmed.
The Palace said in a statement: 'The first state visits will provide the occasion for the new King and Queen to meet with the sovereigns in Sweden and Norway, and they will thus mark the close relations between the Nordic monarchies.'
The Royal Yacht Dannebrog has served as the Danish Royal Family's cruise ship since May 1932 and has travelled over 800,000 miles.
The luxury yacht hosts the Royal Family on both their private holidays and during official overseas engagements.
The yacht's royal compartment still contains furniture and fittings dating back to 1879 that was on board the family's previous yacht.
Frederik and Mary are keen sailors - and took part in a yacht race in Sydney in December 2017 when they visited the Queen's hometown for Christmas.
In August 2022, the couple competed against one another in a sailing 'Royal Race' at the Rockwool Denmark Sail Grand Prix - with Mary narrowly beating her husband.
