Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos's fiancée Lauren Sanchez's self-funded $2 million feature-length movie debut has quietly been scrapped after suffering a myriad of issues during filming.
The 54-year-old former TV anchor began work on the project, called The Golden Door, back in 2022, even enlisting her partner's teenage daughter for a cameo role in the psychological thriller.
But any film fanatics clamoring for a very rare glimpse at Bezos's infamously-private daughter - who he shares with ex MacKenzie Scott and whose name has never even been revealed to the public - will be sorely disappointed.
It now appears that the project has been shelved permanently, having not been picked up by a single network or streamer, with even Bezos's own Amazon Prime not adding the flick to its roster.

Sanchez is a former journalist who now owns her own aerial filming company Black Ops Aviation and the movie was produced by her own company, Adventure & Fellowship
But not long after the project got under way, it was hit with several controversies amid reports of 'chaos' on set and a slew of staff exits.
The director of photography left one week into the 20-day shoot and in week three the assistant director also left. Then, in November 2022, its director Kellie Madison also departed having turned in a 'final cut,' which is understood to have left some dissatisfied.
DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Sanchez.
A report in the entertainment news website Puck suggested that Sanchez was an 'infrequent and — to some, unwelcome — presence on set,' alleging that she made several diva-esque demands, including 'asking if she could land her private helicopter on the set while the cast and crew were worried about basic safety protocols.'
'Suffice to say Sanchez didn't make many friends by maintaining a relatively lavish trailer while others were sweltering,' Puck claimed.
She was also labeled 'inexperienced,' but sources known to the star have hit back at the criticism.
They countered that she had loaned her jewelry to the actors, offered them the use of her helicopter to film aerial shots and had in fact shared her expansive trailer with the other producers on the film.
'Lauren's worked with Christopher Nolan and Catherine Hardwicke, she's hardly inexperienced,' one insider told Page Six back in March 2023.
The film was shot in Topanga, California, over a 20-day shoot in the summer of 2022
Insiders said Sanchez asked to land her helicopter on set and enjoyed a 'lavish trailer'

'Of course, Lauren was going to ask to use her helicopter to film aerial shots. She was involved – she even brought her own jewelry for the actors to wear on film.
'As for the lavish trailer, it was a 30 ft. Star Waggon, one-room trailer she shared with all producers.
'It's just sexist; Lauren has been producing for a long time, just not in feature films. She's a Latin woman who funded a movie with all females, which is no mean feat.'
The sources conceded, however, that the shoot had involved 'more drama than she was used to' and admitted that it wasn't clear whether this might actually be her first and last adventure in the film business.
'It's a $2 million budget movie and there were a bunch of newbies on set, new producers and semi-new directors. There was definitely more drama on set than Lauren is used to,' they said.
The film was shot in Topanga, California, over a 20-day shoot in the summer of 2022, and starred Chris Rock's ex-girlfriend Megalyn Echikunwoke and Daniella Kertesz, famed for her role in World War Z.
A production insider also told Page Six that the director of photographer was forced to leave in their first week of production because he 'wasn't feeling the creative vibe of the director.'

Sanchez, a one-time newsreader, has her own successful aerial filming company, Black Ops Aviation.
The movie was produced by her own company, Adventure & Fellowship.
Bezos, 59, shares three sons with ex-wife Scott, while they adopted their daughter from China.
They have managed to keep their lives mostly private, with the young girl's name still unknown.
The Amazon CEO announced his split from Scott in April 2019 after 25 years of marriage.
In the settlement, Scott became the world's richest woman after being handed a four percent stake in Amazon worth $35.8 billion.
At the time Bezos shared a statement calling MacKenzie as an 'extraordinary partner, ally, and mother.'
But soon afterwards he was rocked by allegations he had enjoyed an eight-month affair with Sanchez, who was then married to her talent manager Patrick Whitesell.
The National Enquirer magazine had spent eight months investigating the affair, with reporters trailing them 'across five states and 40,000 miles as they enjoyed private jets, swanky limos, helicopter rides, romantic hikes, five-star hotel hideaways and intimate dinner dates.'
It was alleged at the time Bezos only announced his divorce after he was informed about the publication of the Enquirer story.
Scott has since been married and divorced again to chemistry teacher Dan Jewett who worked at her children's school.
The two married in March 2021, two years after Bezos's affair was exposed.
Scott filed for the divorce from Jewett in September 2022.
