Caleb Williams and new Bears teammate Rome Odunze shared a heartwarming moment during Thursday's NFL Draft after the quarterback crashed the receiver's media session.
Williams, who went No. 1 overall, was given a great passing weapon to work with when Odunze went eight picks later to the Beats at No. 9.
And the quarterback was giddy as he met his new teammate for the first time, interrupting the former Washington star's virtual press conference by walking up from behind him, emphatically saying his name and letting out a shriek.
The pair then shared a hug before exchanging some pleasantries.
'It's time baby!' Williams said in a video posted to the Bears' X account, before Odunze replied, 'Let's do it baby!'

The pair then mimicked connecting for a touchdown pass before Williams put their partnership in pretty lofty territory.
'LeBron, D-Wade,' he said, referencing LeBron James' and Dwyane Wade's lethal Heat one-two punch.
Williams later struck a more serious tone, saying, 'Let's have fun doin' it. Hold each other accountable.'
Bears fans absolutely loved the clip and the early chemistry that Williams and Odunze displayed.

Not long after, Chicago took Rome Odunze at No. 9 overall to further improve their offense
'Looking forward to these two growing together and putting on a SHOW,' one wrote.
'The start of a dynasty,' another said.
'I literally can’t stop smiling this is the best,' a different fan said .
When asked by ESPN what his first goal would be as Bears quarterback, Williams said, 'Learning all my teammates names.'
Aside from Odunze, he'll also want to learn the name of D.J. Moore, the team's No. 1 receiver who had 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns last season.
