Missing non-binary heiress Mint Butterfield previously threatened suicide, cops hunting for the billionaire's daughter have said.
Marin County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that the search for the 16 year-old is continuing in the Bay Area and that they are believed to have left her San Francisco home voluntarily.
They said that they are no further forward in finding the teenage.
The release said: 'At this time, we have no information to believe that Mint was taken against their will. The Sheriff’s Office is considering Mint a voluntary-missing juvenile, who is “At- Risk” due to a reported previous threat of suicide.'

The release also outlined the final sightings of Mint, who attended a private boarding school in Napa Valley.
The teen's father is Slack co-founder Stuart Butterfield, while her mom is Flickr founder Caterina Fake.
A sheriff's spokesperson said: 'Mint was reported missing by their mother, Caterina Fake. Fake had last seen her daughter at approximately 2200 hours on April 21st inside their home, located in Bolinas.
'The following morning, Fake realized that Mint was not at home, and discovered a note, indicating that Mint had left the residence, with a suitcase at an unknown time during the night or early morning.
'It is unclear how Mint left the area, as they did not have access to a vehicle, or phone.
'Fake and Mint also share a home in San Francisco, and it is believed, based on statements from Fake, that Mint may have left for the Tenderloin District of San Francisco.'
Mint was previously reported to have substance abuse issues and was rumored to have been hiding in San Francisco's notoriously-rough Tenderloin neighborhood.
In a Facebook post, a family friend said that the teen was spotted in Larkspur Landing, a coastal community located north of San Francisco on April 23.
