A Texas school district was placed on lockdown on Friday after pictures began circulating allegedly showing a man with a gun on campus.
Three schools in Clint in El Paso County were locked down as a safety precaution - Mountain View High School, East Montana Middle School, and Montana Vista Elementary School.
Meanwhile Red Sands Elementary school was under a shelter-in-place order. One person was detained following the apparent threat. No injuries have been reported.

The Clint city government said on X: 'One subject is in custody, no injuries have been reported. Mountain View High School parents have been notified of their reunification site.
'Police are still investigating the situation. All other schools in the area will follow early release schedule.'

According to KVIA, high school students will be released shortly and can be picked up at a reunification center, which is at an empty lot across from East Montana Middle School.
District officials added: 'All other schools in the area will follow the early release schedule as planned.'
