A TikToker may have just found the most ridiculously priced item at Los Angeles's celebrity-loved grocery store Erewhon - and it's not Hailey Beiber's smoothie.

Lizzie Dushaj, a young influencer, decided to buy a nearly $30 bag of special cocktail ice from the luxury grocery store to test if it really works yesterday.

The ice balls have been 'crafted' by Penny Pound Ice and are described as 'an elegant solution to keeping your beverages chilled without diluting the flavor'.

According to the store, the ice balls melt slower than traditional ice cubes and can be used for alcohol and iced coffees.

After seeing the miraculous ice in the store, Dushaj brought home a bag and decided to test whether they melt slower than regular cubes in alcohol.

In her first TikTok video, she can be heard telling viewers that the balls also become crystal clear when they're immersed in water.

Dushaj is seen taking out one of the ice balls from the bag and performing a 'taste test'.

In an unimpressed tone, she tells viewers that it 'tastes like water'.

She then takes the 'high quality water' ball and drops it into her 'low quality' water to check whether it turns crystal clear.

In another video, the TikToker tests how long it takes the ice balls to melt by dropping it in a glass of whiskey and to see if it changes the taste of the hard liquor.

Dushaj quickly takes a sip of 'neat' whiskey poured in one glass and reports a bitter taste.

She then adds an ice ball to another glass of the same whiskey and takes a sip.

The influencer, who claims she has never had the hard liquor before, said that the glass with the ice ball was 'slightly better'.

Dushaj's viewers also quickly joined in on the joke and began commenting other things that are similar to crafted rice.

One user wrote: 'this the equivalent of getting premium air in your tires'.

While another joked: 'Is it organic free range and gluten free?!?'

One user also commented: '"tastes like water" girl that's amazing'.

Another also blasted the grocery store and said: 'Erewohn really selling snow in a snow storm'.

Will you be trying Erewohn's miraculous $29.99 ice balls?
