A man who commutes from Germany to London for work has revealed why he does not want to live in the UK.
Seb, who regularly shares his work journey from Germany to the UK on TikTok, has left people stunned by his five-hour international commute.
The content creator often documents his journey which includes one flight and four trains - and often attempts to beat his quickest time getting home.
Many of his followers have been left confused as to why he doesn't live in London full-time and save himself not only five hours but money on plane tickets.
But Seb has revealed that his reasons are not just financial.
Seb,(pictured) who spends most of his time in Hamburg, regularly documents his journey from Canary Wharf to Hamburg attempting to beat his record commute time of four hours and 57 minutes
When queried by several curious social media users, the super-commuter was willing to make the lengthy journey for love.
From his comments, it is understood that Seb lives in Hamburg to be with his partner.
Detailing his journey from the office at 5pm, Seb elaborated that he kicks off his journey from Canary Wharf with two trains and makes it to Heathrow an hour later.
Arriving just over an hour before his plane was set to jet-off, Seb quipped: 'Let's hope [I] get through security, get some food and get on my flight all in time.'
With a meal from Pret to hand, the super commuter was happy to discover he had bagged an aisle seat when he boarded his flight to Hamburg in his latest video.
'Back on European soil in Deutschland,' he proudly said as he arrived in Hamburg.
However, the commute wasn't entirely smooth sailing as Seb had to quickly dash between his third and fourth train so he could make it home.
Arriving home at 11.04pm, the Hamburg resident boasted his five hour and three minute commute time for that day - only a few minutes shy of his record of four hours and 57 minutes.
Luckily for Seb, he doesn't have to travel a round trip of ten hours daily, five times a week.
According to the content creator, he stays in London once a month for a period of four days - from Monday until Thursday.
But several viewers were still left baffled by his lengthy travel to work, with one even describing it as a 'pilgrimage'.
'Sir pls save yourself this hassle and just move into London omg!?,' said one shocked viewer.
A second penned: 'Not even London city airport? Heathrow?'
The man who works in Canary Wharf responded to a comment saying he doesn't do the super commute because it is cheaper but because of love
After watching his most recent video documenting his international journey, many were baffled as to why Seb didn't live in London full-time
'Is your work place funding your travel coz[sic] I don’t understand,' quipped a third confused onlooker.
'What do you do when the Elizabeth Line is part suspended.' a user queried.
Another joked: 'Listen.. you can stay at mine in Canary Wharf next time.'
A user questioned: 'Isn’t it quicker to get Eurostar?'
One commented: 'Your passport must be filling up, I commute from UK to de on a regular basis and it’s many stamps!'
Some were in awe of Seb's commute with some comparing their own travel time to work.
One woman wrote: 'That's amazing it only took you five hours to fly internationally!
It takes me six to get from Norwich to Edinburgh every week for my commute.'
'I commuted from Germany to London for work the past 2 years cuz it was more affordable than living there,' a viewer added.
'I'd be looking for at least 250k a year to do that,' chimed another.
