Joel Embiid has criticized 76ers fans for having a worst turnout to Game 4 than their New York counterparts, as he voiced his frustration at the lack of home support in his team's 97-92 loss on Sunday.

Viral footage on X shows Knicks fans chanting 'Knicks in 5!' after their team's latest playoff win, as not a single Sixers fan can be seen among the crowd of blue, white and orange jerseys taking over the Wells Fargo Center.

'The game was not at Madison Square Garden,' Barstool Sports wrote to include in its caption.

Surrounded by reporters after putting up 27 points and 10 rebounds in 44 minutes, Embiid said it was 'disappointing' to see a plethora of Knicks fans in the stands for Sunday's big game.

'I love our fans, think it's unfortunate,' the Sixers center added. 'I'm not calling them out but it is disappointing...

'I've been here for 10 years, [and it] kinda of pisses me off, especially because Philly is considered a sports town,' he then pointed out.

Knicks fans were also seen chanting 'F**k Embiid' while making their way down the escalators at the Wells Fargo Center.

Jalen Brunson, who led the Knicks in scoring with a playoff-high 47 points on Sunday, praised New York fans for doing their part in the team's win.

'The Philadelphia fanbase is, I said this before, they'e very relentless and very passionate. I mean, I'm an Eagles fan, I would know,' said the guard, who won two national championships playing collegiately for Villanova.

'But seeing the Knicks here and hearing the Knicks here, it was pretty cool and it's awesome.'

The No. 2-seeded Knicks can now secure progress to the next round of the playoffs  with a victory at home on Tuesday night.

Embiid played the entire second half of Sunday's game after the 76ers faltered badly when he sat in the first.

But the 30-year-old reigning MVP, who's been dealing with lingering problems from his surgically repaired left knee that he appeared to reinjure after a dunk in Game 1, and was recently diagnosed with Bell's palsy, a form of facial paralysis, couldn't muster a basket in the fourth quarter.
