Britney Spears' settlement with her father Jamie was reportedly to protect her from reliving the past trauma from her 13 year conservatorship.
The singer, 42, has failed to hold her father accountable for being in control of her life and finances over this period of time.
The American star has since spoken of the 'hurt' her family caused her and claimed that there has been no justice served in an Instagram post on Sunday.
Lawyers reached a settlement over the conservatorship, which found that Britney must pay her father's $2million legal fees.
Following the news, Britney wrote on Instagram: 'My family hurt me! There has been no justice and probably never will be!'

However, it has now been claimed by the Sun that the reason the case didn't go to court was because it would force to relive her most embarrassing moments.
Britney was placed under the conservatorship in 2008, where her father managed her financial and personal affairs following concerns for her mental health.
A source said: 'Her legal team decided the focus should be on protecting her from reliving the traumas of her conservatorship.'
Britney made the remarks alongside a half-naked picture of her backside as she responded to the legal ruling on Instagram.
'I was actually right about nerve damage in my back!!!' she started in the caption.
'I have to get [acupuncture] every day of my life now!!! Words and thinking too hard make it worse!!! If people only knew how I've had to crawl to my own door one time!!!
In the post, she said: 'My family hurt me!!! There has been no justice and probably never will be!!! The people who sat and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are smooth sailing!!!'

Her post comes after Britney quietly settled her years-long legal battle with father Jamie, 71, last week.
The ruling saddles Britney with Jamie's legal bill, in addition to the $4million she's reportedly spent on her own lawyer.
With nothing awarded to the Baby One More Time artist, Britney is said to be in a bigger financial hole than before the trial.
'The way I was brought up I was always taught the formative of right and wrong but the very two people who brought me up with that method hurt me!!!' she wrote in Sunday's post. 'I am so lucky to be here!!!
'It's funny 'cus till this very day I haven't told them face to face!!! I text through IG but I honestly believe it will not be so safe if I ever did go face to face so!!!
'The child in me knows they would be destroyed and that's basically it!!! I do miss my home in Louisiana and I wish I could visit but they took everything!!!' added Britney.
According to TMZ, Britney is furious about the outcome of the settlement after her attorney Mathew Rosengart assured her it was a solid case.
In legal filings obtained by the outlet, Jamie accused his daughter of using stall tactics to draw out the case.
Britney's dad served as her conservator throughout the 13-year conservatorship, which ended in 2021.
That June, she gave testimony about 'abusive' treatment she allegedly suffered during the conservatorship
She also accused Jamie of financial misconduct as her conservator, for which he was paid $16,000 a month and received a percentage of her tour gross revenues.
With the settlement, Britney and her father have avoided going to trial.
