Singer Olivia O'Brien has claimed she was the woman who inadvertently went viral with NBA fans because of a 'boob moment' when she was watching the Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets at the weekend.

O'Brien's cleavage was caught in the background of a shot while Nuggets coach  Michael Malone was filmed lecturing his players in the playoff loss to LeBron James and his team.

After the image went viral, O'Brien decided to own the moment and reveal it was her who was caught on camera - while using the opportunity to get more fans to listen to her music.

Sharing the clip on her Instagram, she wrote: 'hello to all of my new followers after my viral boob moment! While i still have you here...'

The 24-year-old then shared a link to her new single on Spotify, called 'blip', and wrote: 'go stream my new song!'

'Thanks for the boob appreciation now let's get to streaming, boys.'

O'Brien cheered the Lakers on to a season-extending 119-108 win over the Nuggets, the reigning NBA champions.

But the Nuggets lead the series 3-1 with the fifth game slated for Monday night, back at the Ball Arena in Denver.

The season is over for the Lakers if they lose and scrutiny will return over James, 39, and his future not only with his team, but altogether in the NBA.
