Food Network star Sandra Lee has revealed that she became 'sick as sick could be' recently after trying weight loss injections.
The 57-year-old television chef and author said that although she lost 10lbs, the troubling side effects overshadowed the aesthetic benefits.
'I tried them recently and one of them put me in bed for an entire week,' she told Fox News on the red carpet at The Daily Front Row's 8th Annual Fashion Awards in LA.
'I lost 10lbs but I was sick as sick could be. And so, I don't know, for every person it's what their body can handle and tolerate. It wasn't for me.'
Lee didn't disclose whether the injections she tried were Ozempic or a different weight control drug.

Hollywood hype around weight loss drugs has hit dizzying levels over the past year, with many celebrities undergoing dramatic transformations after using a jab.
Fans including Kelly Osbourne, 39, Oprah Winfrey, 70, Amy Schumer, 42 and Boy George, 62, have all been open about using Ozempic.
However, some have also cautioned against the grim side effects including Stephen Fry, 66, who said his 'astonishing' weight loss came at a price after it caused him to vomit up to five times a day.
Sharon Osbourne, 71, also said she was glad she started using the drug, but she did regret continuing after her weight dropped below seven stone, saying: 'Be careful what you wish for'.
Though she cooks up storms for a living, California-born Lee is no stranger to diet and weight loss culture.
The chef revealed that she started a strict cleanse on Christmas Day 2020 after gaining 30lbs over the course of the year to reach a weight of 170lb.
'None of my clothes fit and worse I feel terrible,' she wrote. 'I feel my very best at 140 pounds. I’m 5’9” that’s a good weight for me.'
Lee said she was inspired by her sister Kimber, who does cleanses 'all the time' using the NutriClean system.
She typically 'loses up to 10 pounds' in seven days following the plan, though the chef noted the first five pounds is water weight.

Sandra made their love Instagram official in February 2022, when she shared a gushing post in honor of Valentine's Day
'As far as I know 2020 was not a great health year for anyone — except for my new Health Hero — Rebel Wilson,' she wrote at the time, citing the actress' dramatic weight loss.
The food lover didn't waste any time getting her diet on track and started the cleanse on Christmas Day. Lee said she didn't have any alcohol over the holidays — 'NOT EVEN NEW YEAR'S EVE.'
She abstained from red meat and had 'very, very few carbs.' She filled up instead on vegetables, fruit, avocado, eggs, soups with low-sodium broth, sauerkraut, and pickles. As for drinks, she's been having coffee, tea, and 'lots of water.'
Lee also took plenty of vitamins, including vitamin C, vitamin D, magnesium, zinc, calcium, and 'a few other amazing things.'
The chef previously hit headlines over swirling rumors that she secretly married fiancee Ben Youcef after they were both spotted wearing rings in St Tropez.
Lee said the Algerian actor had been very supportive after she endured a 'rough' hysterectomy in 2022.
