A wild brawl broke out at a Virginia theme park on Sunday involving two different groups of visitors.

Shocking footage of the incident shows a group of men throwing punches at another man inside Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The incident took place around 5:30pm when a disagreement broke out between two different groups of visitors in the queue for the Pantheon rollercoaster, which first opened in 2022.

Although the popular theme park's security team managed to step in, local police were also called upon to help manage the situation.

Medical staff were also called to the scene to treat those who sustained injuries in the fighting, according to a statement from James City County Police Department.

Multiple suspects were later identified but no charges have been filed and no arrests have been made, the statement added.

The police department are continuing to investigate the matter and will determine if charges will be filed at a later date.

In a video of the altercation posted to social media at least three young men can be seen chasing and punching an older gentleman.

A woman in a blue t-shirt is seen trying to intervene as the man flees around the side of the ride's queue lanes.

A distressed child can be heard crying in the background as the fight takes place.

It is not clear what the dispute was over or whether the disagreement was resolved.
