A Utah woman has been charged with murder after she allegedly shot and killed a friend in what authorities said was an 'uncompleted suicide pact.'
Heavenly Faith Garfield, 21, was arrested after her father called 911 to report the shooting on Tuesday afternoon.
The man said his daughter shot the 21-year-old victim at 10:45 am Tuesday as part of a suicide pact that the two had made weeks prior.
A friend informed investigators that the two had planned a suicide pact in which one would kill the other and then themselves.
Garfield reportedly texted the friend, saying that she 'intended on committing suicide, but was too scared to kill herself,' according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by KUTV.
