A Hollywood producer turned director has been accused of being an abusive racist in a bombshell lawsuit.

Mohit Ramchandani, who has worked in films with A-list stars such as Paul Rudd and Anne Hathaway, per the Hollywood Reporter, is facing grave claims in the suit filed by the mother of his child, Mexican citizen Patricia Del Castillo.

The couple met in Mexico in September 2021 while Ramchandani was working on his directorial debut, City of Dreams, which - ironically - looks into the heartbreaking story of migrant child workers in the US.

But Del Castillo now claims Ramchandani is a raging racist who said he hated Mexicans and also emotionally and physically abused her while she was pregnant, causing stress-induced complications.

Some of the hateful message she attributes to Ramchandani include: 'I HATE MEXICO. I HATE F****** MEXICANS! And if Trump runs in 2024 then on my mother’s life I’m voting for him and making a political contribution to the wall!'

As he worked on a film meant to highlight the horrors faced by an enslaved Mexican boy, Ramchandani was allegedly spewing hate about the country behind closed doors and even pledging his support for Donald Trump.

Ramchandani is also accused of sending messages that read: 'I should punch this fu**ing Be**** in the face,' 'Fu***** c***s****ng Mexican post house,' 'it is the sh*****t place I’ve ever been too in my life.

'It’s worst than Hong Kong and china,' 'Number 1 s****ole, and 'Vote Trump 2024.'

Del Castillo, who is a lawyer in Mexico, also claims in the suit that Ramchandani forced her into a health regime that included coffee enemas while she was pregnant.

The Mexico resident also accuses Ramchandani of having a 'classic case of Munchausen syndrome by adult proxy,' and using his doctor friend to 'convince Del Castillo' that she was ill so she would quit her job.

She claims to later have learned the doctor friend was not licensed to practice medicine in California.

The prenatal health regime allegedly also included 'a special diet, supplements (including one bearing a warning that it was not considered safe during pregnancy), stretching and exercise.'

According to the suit, Ramchandani 'repeatedly insisted she take pain medication that she did not want, requiring her to secretly spit them out when Ramchandani wasn’t looking.'

The suit states: 'When Ms. Del Castillo expressed her concerns over taking the supplements Ramchandani insisted she take, he became furious, blamed her “forgetting” to take her supplements on her job, threatened to destroy her work computer and deprived her of sleep until she promised to quit her job the next morning.'

She says the abuse culminated in a violent attack on May of 2022, when Ramchandani allegedly 'dragged her out of bed, pushed her causing her to hit a door, kicked her out of his apartment, and slapped/stiff armed her face.'

He supposedly prevented her from calling 911 and threatened her with deportation.

Del Castillo says she escaped to Mexico after the alleged attack, and Ramchandani canceled her health insurance and has continued threatening her with legal action.

The suit reads: 'While Ramchandani may think that his Hollywood clout and “powerful friends” make him untouchable, he, like any other abuser, is not above the law and must be held accountable for his deplorable acts of violence on Ms. Del Castillo and their child.'

Ramchandani denied all the claims when reached by DailyMail.com on Friday, and said the lawsuit was retaliation after he had filed his own suit against Del Castillo.

'I have spent the last weeks working for free supporting immigrants,' he said. 'All the kids that are in my film - they are my family.'

In his own lawsuit, he claims del Castillo lied to him about being on birth control with the goal of becoming pregnant, moving to the US with the filmmaker and obtaining American citizenship by marrying him.

Ramchandani says Del Castillo is the racist one, who called him 'a disgusting pig, a smelly Indian, a fat and ugly believer of elephant gods that smelled like elephant s***.'

He claims Del Castillo's family threatened to kill him if he did not marry her and repeatedly harassed him about converting to Christianity.

His lawsuit states: 'At a lunch in Plaintiff’s apartment, Del Castillo's father and aunt began to harass and threaten Plaintiff, saying he needed to be "beaten up" for not accepting Jesus Christ the lord as his only savior.'

According to Ramchandani, Del Castillo continued partying and drinking while she was pregnant and 'refused to take nutritional supplements including the iron necessary to treat her anemia, and ate primarily processed and fast foods, her favorite being Kentucky Fried Chicken.'
