At least 250 concert staffers reportedly came down with food poisoning at a rock band show in Argentina.

The sickened workers, mostly assigned to the security team, fell ill after eating ham, chicken and cheese sandwiches at a La Renga show that took place at Estadio Único Armando in La Plata on Saturday night.

At least 174 staff members reported stomach ailments and were treated at several hospitals in the province of Buenos Aires and another 90 workers were treated by the Red Cross, according to the health ministry.

In order to prevent the medical facilities from being overcrowded, authorities set up 10 mobile units and a tent to treat the ill.

One worker was placed in intensive care after being diagnosed with kidney failure. Doctors granted the patient's request to be voluntarily discharged.

Buenos Aires authorities seized 66 sandwiches and two mayonnaise packets as part of the investigation into OIFE S.A., the catering company that was hired by security firm STEWAR CAP.

'Admission and (security) control workers showed signs of poisoning, including two union representatives of the organization, presumably after consuming food supplied by a catering company hired for the event,' STEWAR CAP said in a statement.

The incident comes a week after more than 100 guests were treated for food poisoning at a wedding in the central Mexico city of Cuernavaca.

Aranza Rodríguez told local news outlet Proceso that she arrived late to the wedding party and noticed several invitees ill.

She recalled having wild mushrooms with goat cheese and tomato coulis as an appetizer and chicken breast stuffed with spinach as her main course dish before she vomited.

Invitees were seen on video being treated by guests and paramedics on the scene.

At least 80 guests were admitted to area hospitals, where they were placed on IV treatment and prescribed medicine.
