A TikTok user who is known for their fast-food preparation videos showed viewers how Taco Bell cooks their eggs.

The Taco Bell employee (sharing under the handle @howfoodismade) posted a TikTok video on April 27 on how the company seemingly boils their eggs in a plastic bag.

More than four million TikTokers have seen the video, and some 1,000 commenters  are divided on their approach to the breakfast staple.

The TikToker took the bagged eggs and dipped them into the water in the re-thermalizer, similar to a sous vide technique.

The user then took a can of bakery release spray and sprayed some of it into a stainless steel table pan, before eventually pouring the cooked eggs into the pan, and the breakfast ingredient was ready to serve at the restaurant.

One TikToker was left 'confused' while another thought the eggs were 'perfectly cooked.'

The TikToker did not reveal their face, but they did show viewers that employees only take the eggs out of the packaging after they cook them.

More than one commenter called Taco Bell's eggs 'not real' despite the company saying that they are 'cage-free.'

According to the Taco Bell website, all of its US restaurants are 'committed to serving 100 percent whole cage-free eggs.'

'We’re proud that our eggs come from hens raised in an open environment where they can feel comfortable and display their natural behaviors,' the company's website reads.

'Since then, we expanded our commitment to serve 100% cage-free egg ingredients across our entire menu in all US and Canada restaurants.'

This is not the first time in which the TikToker has posted a Taco Bell-themed video on their account.

The @howfoodismade account posted a TikTok video on April 26 showing how Taco Bell makes their beef.

The beef comes in plastic packaging, and like the eggs, the ingredients stay in the bag while it is placed in the hot water.

The TikToker then took the cooked meat out of the packaging and poured it into a longer table pan.

The Taco Bell beef cooking video has received less than 100,000 views, but more than one commenter who claimed to work at one of the restaurants wrote that the process was accurate.

Other videos of Taco Bell employees cooking the restaurant's food have gone viral more than once over the last few years.

One TikToker, @danii_maniic, posted a video back in 2020 of her preparing beans at another Taco Bell restaurant.

All she needed to do was pour a bag of beans that she said looked like 'rabbit food' into a table pan and dump hot water into it.

The TikTok video posted by @howfoodismade on April 26 has received the most comments so far, and more than one of them were positive.

'So they scramble the eggs, and you boil them. I don't see anything wrong with this,' a TikToker wrote.

Other users appeared to be disgusted with how the Taco Bell eggs were cooked, one person even calling the ingredient 'meals ready-to-eat eggs.'

'No boiling in the plastic! The amount of chemicals transferring to those eggs is disgusting,' wrote a commenter.

Multiple others who claimed to work at a Taco Bell previously or currently all wrote that this method is accurate.

'I used to work at Taco Bell and I know that how you do it,' a person wrote.

'It the same with the chicken, beef, and steak.'
