Nikki Glaser is standing up for herself after she came under fire for her jokes about Tom Brady's divorce from Gisele Bündchen.
The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady featured the 39-year-old comedian joking about the end of Brady's marriage and her current relationship with jiu-jitsu trainer boyfriend Joaquim Valente.
As she arrived for her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Glaser defended her jokes about Brady and Bündchen's divorce to a TMZ videographer.
She admitted it 'was a risk' to poke fun at the 43-year-old supermodel, but she thought her jokes were fair because they were part of a 'roast.'
Her defense follows a report that Bündchen was 'deeply disappointed' by jokes about her and her divorce from the 46-year-old football legend, which fueled material for several comics at the roast.

'You had to go there — it was a roast,' Glaser claimed.
She also had some additional jokes about the Brazilian model lined up.
'l like she's been roasting me my whole life with how hot she is,' the stand-up star joked. 'So I felt my whole life — I felt like she had it coming.'
However, she clarified that she was just kidding, and she gushed: 'I love her so much.'
Glaser also claimed that she 'didn't go hard on' Bündchen.
Celebrity roasts are known for featuring hard-hitting jokes about the guest of honor, though other targets sometimes get caught in the crossfire.
According to People, Bündchen was left fuming after watching the Netflix roast.
A source claimed the catwalk star 'was deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening's roast show.'
Several of Nikki's lines referenced Bündchen's relationship with her jiu-jitsu trainer.
'Tom, the only thing dumber than you saying "yes" to this roast was when you said, "Hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu,"' she joked.
At another point, she said: 'You have seven rings... well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back.'
One joke referenced Brady's previous partner, the model and actress Bridget Moynahan, whom he split from while she was pregnant with their first child.

Glaser revealed on Howard Stern that she cut a joke referencing Brady's oldest son Jack, 16, after the comedians collectively agreed to leave his kids out of it
'But seriously, Tom…you’re the best to ever play for too long. I mean, you retired, then you came back and then you retired again,' she began.
'I mean, I get it. It’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend,' Glaser joked. 'To be fair, he didn’t know she was pregnant. He just thought she was getting fat and Tom hates fat.'
Glaser also threw in a self-deprecating joke. After a setup about how Brady was 'the greatest of all time,' who would take being told he couldn't do something as a challenge, she added: 'So I’m here to say tonight, Tom Brady cannot make me come.'
Although the comedian thought jokes featuring Gisele were fair game, she revealed Monday on Howard Stern's show that she had cut out a joke referencing Brady's oldest son Jack, 16, after the comedians performing at the roast collectively agreed to keep Brady's children out of their material.
