The girlfriend of the Mexican bandit accused of murdering two Australian brothers and their American friend during a dream surfing trip is a cockfighting enthusiast and young mum.

Ari Gisell, 23, has been arrested along with her partner Jesus Gerardo, 36, and his brother Cristian Alejandro after the three tourists went missing in the Baja California region on April 27.

Mexican authorities will allege Jesus, who is also known as 'El Kekas', murdered Aussie brothers Callum, 33, and Jake Robinson, 30, and US citizen Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, during a botched robbery.

The trio's burnt out truck was discovered on May 3 at a property in the Santo Tomas area, near their last known camp site.

Their bodies were found later that day dumped down a nearby well, each with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Ari, who has been charged with drug possession and was allegedly found with a phone belonging to one of the dead brothers, is now a key prosecution witness against her boyfriend.

In court on Wednesday, where the three Mexican suspects' surnames were suppressed, she claimed Jesus had confessed to her that he had 'f***ed up three gringos' and stolen tyres from the men's ute.

Ari's turn against her boyfriend comes as Daily Mail Australia can reveal she has a penchant for bad boys.

Just six months ago, she was dating another man, who was one of six men arrested in a major drug and weapons bust by Mexican police in September 2023.

In December, she pledged she would forever stay by that man's side - however, she appears to have broken her promise just months later and shacked up with Jesus Gerardo, 36.

In a video posted online, she can be seen catching a bus with a female relative to visit her ex-boyfriend in December - who was in prison at the time.

'I will wait for you until the end,' she wrote, alongside emojis of chains, a woman and a man.

However, her vow was short-lived, with Ari appearing to have turned her attention to a new love, Jesus Gerardo, while her ex-partner was behind bars.

Over the past two months - and as recently as May 1 -  she has made several social media posts featuring adoring references to her latest boyfriend including referring to him as her 'husband' and sharing memes joking that she was the dominant partner in their relationship.

Ari, who has a four-year-old son, also frequently jokes about their life as bandits and boasts online about her love of bad boys.

In late April, she shared a meme showing a person sitting in a car while being followed closely by police, alongside a laughing emoji.

A day later, she shared a photo of Al Pacino with Michelle Pfeiffer in a scene from iconic crime movie Scarface, with the blurb 'pretty girls don't hang out with handsome, they hang out with crazy people!'

She captioned the post 'Mi mero mole', which translates to 'this is my thing,' alongside a drooling and laughing emoji.

On May 1 - just four days after the alleged murders - she shared a meme of a man standing with his mouth agape staring at someone off camera, with the description: 'Me watching my buddy being slapped who said he was the boss in his relationship.'

'Me with El Kekas haha,' she wrote. 'I'm still telling him.'

Aside from her self-proclaimed penchant for criminals, Ari is also a cockfighter, with photos posted online showing her posing alongside roosters and trophies.

She frequently documents her daily life online, sharing images of herself playing with her roosters, spending time with with her friends and young son, and riding cows and horses on a rural property.

Jesus, the accused ringleader in the execution-style murders of the Robinson brothers and Mr Rhoad, has been charged with forced kidnapping and faced a court hearing on Wednesday.

In court, Ari, appearing as a prosecution witness, told authorities Jesus came home on April 27 and admitted he had killed the three men.

Ari said he then took her outside and showed her that her car had been fitted with tyres allegedly stolen from the trio's ute.

She said she fled to her mother's home with her son after learning about what happened. She was arrested by police later that day.

Ari told officers she was a victim of domestic violence and was willing to cooperate in their investigation.

Jesus has not entered a plea and it is expected his charges may still be upgraded to murder.

The Robinson brothers, who are originally from Perth, and Mr Rhoad were on a road trip around the west coast of northern Mexico when they failed to check into their pre-arranged Airbnb on 27 April.

They were reported missing two days later, sparking a desperate search by authorities who became alarmed when they went to their last known location and discovered their campsite covered in blood.

Days later, authorities located their burnt out car and bodies at the bottom of a four-metre well.

A fourth body, believed to belong to the property owner, was also found inside the well. Police believe he was murdered at an earlier date.

Police allege El Kekas, who has a criminal record of drug dealing, vehicle theft and domestic violence, shot the men after they resisted when he was stealing their tyres.

His brother, who was also arrested, has been charged with drug possession.

El Kekas is next due before court in November.
