The View hosts couldn't resist poking fun at Sunny Hostin after she forced Joy Behar to read out loud a 'sexy part' from her new book, Summer On Highland Beach.
Joy, 81, is no stranger to talking candidly about sex on the ABC show, but even she looked a little bit awkward on Thursday as she read a few racy sentences, which left The View's executive producer Brian Teta blushing with his head in his hands.
As the panel, including Whoopi Goldberg, egged her on, Joy did as she was told and read: '"Desire hit her hard and fast. She was burning up, sparked by fire, lit by joy..."' before she asked sarcastically: 'Really?' before continuing the paragraph: '"She had forgotten how delicious spearmint tasted on her lips...."'
She then asked Sunny: 'Want me to read this other one?' as Alyssa Farah Griffin encouraged her and replied: 'Yeah, read the naughtier one!' but as Joy glanced at the page, she blurted out: 'Oh it's so bad! You really want me to read that? Oh my God!'

Continuing the chapter, Joy read aloud with a grin on her face: '"She finally honored his demand, cupped his ass and guided him inside...,"' before burying her head in the book as the rest of the panel burst out laughing.
As Sara Haines gave Joy a standing ovation, the mother-of-one admitted: 'That's embarrassing! Look at Brian!' as the camera cut to the executive producer, who was shaking his head.
Whoopi, who recently opened up about having sex with older men, then chimed in and said: 'Wait, can I just point out that she doesn't say where she guided it. She could have guided him inside the house, you nasty folks!' as Joy agreed and added: 'That is correct!'
Referring to Joy's husband Steve Janowitz, Sara then joked: 'All I know is, Steve is waiting for her now!' as Sunny beamed from ear-to-ear, before holding up her novel and describing it as the 'perfect sexy Mother's Day gift.'
Viewers tuning in at home thought it was hilarious and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.
'Joy being embarrassed was funny,' one person posted, while another said: 'Oh, holly hot potpourri tea, Sunny being raunchy. Go on, sister!'
A third person added: '[Joy] reading from [Sunny's] book KILLED ME. Not Whoopi saying he didn't say where he guided her. It could've been she guided her inside the house. Ok, sure. That's it.'
And a fourth viewer posted: 'Wait… Sunny writing somewhat erotica tings now? Joy is embarrassed?'

Someone else tweeted: 'I'm sorry but what is going on w Sunny today?' and they were perhaps referring to some racy comments that she made earlier on in the episode.
When Whoopi, 68, asked the ladies about the viral TikTok question which asks women if they would rather be alone in the woods with a man or a bear, Sunny had a lot to say on the topic.
'I'm gonna pick a man. I'm gonna pick a survivalist. Remember we had that guy... Paul de Gelder, that guy! I'm picking him because he survived a shark attack he's hot, he can go find me a water source, he can get fish....'
Whoopi interrupted her and claimed: 'While you're standing there waiting for him to come back you've already been gone!' But Sunny was having none of it.
She fired back: 'No, the bear is not going to get me and I'm having mountain sex, I'm having island sex, I'm having forest sex, and I've got someone who can save me!'
