Roses are red, violets are blue... but sex toys are even better for you! At least that's what one very raunchy brand hopes to prove with the launch of a very X-rated Mother's Day bouquet alternative that replaces stunning stems with something rather more exotic.

SKYN, a sexual wellness brand, took a leaf out of Gwyneth Paltrow's ultra-risque Goop gift guides by announcing the launch of its $99.99 Petal Pleasure Mother's Day Bouquet - a collection of sex toys and lubricant strung together to look like a collection of flowers.

According to a statement from the brand, the bouquet is intended to 'help moms relax and experience the pleasure they deserve', with SKYN adding that the arrangement is comprised of its 'most popular devices'.

Described as 'the mother of all bouquets', the intriguing gift features five different sex toys, as well as a bottle of the brand's own lubricant.

'The SKYN brand is all about elevating pleasure and intimate experiences through innovative and superior products,' Marta Toth, VP of global marketing and innovation, said.

'With Mother's Day right around the corner, we wanted to give moms the ultimate gift of pleasure, which is why we created a bouquet filled with our most popular devices.

'We're hoping this Mother's Day is the best one yet for those who are ready to go all in on the pleasure they deserve.'

Although the bouquet is certainly unique, this is not the first time that a brand has swapped traditional XOs for X-rated gift ideas.

Actress-turned-lifestyle guru Gwyneth, 51, has made it something of a tradition to fill the gift guides posted on her Goop brand's website with all manner of raunchy items, from chains and whips to vibrators and vaginal eggs.

Last Mother's Day, the Oscar winner unveiled a gift guide filled with no less than four vibrators - although that total paled in comparison to the eight that had been included the year prior.

However it's not just mothers who are urged to share in the pleasure.

Father's Day was also cause for more sex toy touting on Gwyneth's part, with the actress and mom-of-two offering up a recommendation for a $219 hands-free prostate stimulator in her 2023 gift guide for dads.

In the past four years sex toys have become something of a celebrity favorite as far as product endorsements are concerned, with everyone from Harry Potter star Emma Watson to Fifty Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson extolling the virtues of a good vibrator.

A-listers have also become much more outspoken about their own personal use of the devices, with Will Smith's wife Jada admitting in 2019 that she found it surprising how 'shocked people are about her love for using sex toys'.

'People are shocked about my love for using sex toys. I know damn well I'm not the only one that uses them,' she told The Sun

'Nobody has to feel any shame about it but I'm still surprised how people relate to sex, specifically female sexuality – it's still such a taboo.'
