Former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly was 'uncomfortable' with black players, according to LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson.

Jackson and McCoy both played under Kelly for his first year in Philadelphia, before Jackson was cut after the 2013 campaign. McCoy was traded to the Bills in early 2015.

Kelly only lasted three seasons at the Eagles' helm, his first job in the NFL, before a final year in professional football, going 2-14 with the 49ers before becoming an ESPN analyst for one year before getting back into college coaching.

Kelly was an accomplished college coordinator and head coach, most notably at Oregon, before going to the NFL. After a stint as UCLA's head coach, Kelly is currently the offensive coordinator at Ohio State.

McCoy and Jackson also said he 'singlehandedly dismantled' what could have been a great team in Philadelphia due to his coaching philosophies.

'I never had a coach that was uncomfortable when dealing with black players because, lets just not hide it, most of the players are black. The NFL is dominated by black players,' McCoy said with Jackson agreeing on their '25/10 Show'.

'And there's a lot of white coaches,' McCoy continued about Kelly. 'And it was weird because you were uncomfortable.'

Jackson and McCoy spent the entire 54-minute episode detailing their problems with Kelly's time as the Eagles' head coach, bringing up numerous examples of his alleged bad decisions.

One example was how Kelly allegedly did not want players listening to music in the locker room or driving to games themselves instead of a team bus.

Kelly also allegedly would not criticize black players directly, letting one of his assistant coaches handle those duties.

McCoy also detailed how Kelly supposedly wanted cornerback Roc Carmichael to cut his hair to look more 'presentable'.

McCoy also claimed former team quarterback Michael Vick said he cried more while playing under Kelly than he did during his 21 months in prison.

Kelly also favored Oregon alumni over other players who did not play for the Ducks, such as when McCoy was traded for Kiko Alonso, who played under Kelly in Eugene for four years.

Both Jackson and McCoy also took issue with how Kelly allegedly handled former teammate Riley Cooper saying the n-word in public, where he decided to put the wide receiver on leave and not address his teammates for weeks after the incident.

McCoy insisted he knew Cooper was not a racist but was initially denied the chance to hash out the issue with his teammate.
