Mica Miller threatened to send her estranged pastor husband to jail after he confronted her as she get her slashed tires fixed.

Mica, 30, was found dead in Lumbee River State Park in North Carolina on April 27 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

She took her own life days after serving her husband John Paul Miller, 44, with divorce papers, and police ruled it a suicide.

Miller is accused in court documents of grooming her for years before they wed and of committing her to a hospital to steal her car, which he also put a tracker on.

Mica called police at least eight times in the weeks leading up to her death, one of which was at East Coast Honda in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on March 11.

She told officers she was there after her tires were slashed, and her husband suddenly showed up and harassed her.

'I'll show you the pictures... they'll be on Facebook in a few hours,' he told her in a video obtained by NewsNation.

Mica replied: 'Walk away. Do you want to go to jail? Alright, you'll be in jail in a few hours.'

Miller walked away to his car and sped off, she told police.

It was not clear what pictures they were arguing about, but a police report obtained by DailyMail.com showed Mica also contacted police accusing her husband of sharing an indecent photo of hers on a Facebook group called 'big boobs and nice curves'.

Miller even tagged Mica's old account, which she had no access to and therefore couldn't un-tag herself.

Mica told police that she sent the image to her husband six months earlier.

'The complainant further advised that he is the only person she has ever sent that type of photo to. Although the complainants' breasts are exposed the nipple is blurred out, not meeting the SC Code of Law for nudity,' the report stated.

Officers also advised Mica that the photo was posted anonymously, and there was 'no way to prove he was the one who actually posted the photo'.

Shockingly, authorities even told the distressed woman that 'once a photo is sent the person who the photo was sent to is now the owner of the photo.'

A month before, Miller complained that Mica and her family were 'harassing him' on social media – moaning that a post his wife had made regarding 'abuse' would harm his reputation.

Officers dismissed his claims, advising him to contact them again if he was being harassed, as he had 'no texts or proof' of the allegations.

Later on March 14 and March 26 Mica reported that she had found a tracking device on her car, after discovering it attached by magnets under the chassis.

Another police report over the alleged theft of her silver Honda Accord shows the breakdown of their marriage dating back to February 2023.

'When the complainant was discharged from the hospital, hospital staff informed her that her husband picked up her purse and her keys,' the report states.

'The complainant believed that her husband fraudulently initiated her involuntary hospitalization and 'stole' her care while she was in the hospital.'

Mica met with the cops at Coastal Grand Mall and told them she and her husband had been separated since January of that year.

When investigators contacted her husband, he told them that his wife had been suffering from a 'reckless episode' due to poor mental health.

He said the incidents were annual crises which would flare up around Christmas and result in Mica spending excessively.

Miller told the officer he seized the vehicle to prevent it being sold and would not give it back for a month to allow the episode to pass.

As both parties stated they were legally married, the investigator had to consider the car as marital property and therefore 'could not establish a criminal offense'.

The most salacious claim in Mica's police reports was that Miller, who is 14 years older than her, 'groomed' her since she was 10, before they married in 2017.

'The complainant stated that she has known her husband since she was ten-years-old and that he 'groomed' her while she worked for him at Solid Rock Church until they were married,' the report added.

Miller's lawyer Russel Long said this 'couldn't be farther from the truth. She moved to Myrtle Beach at the age of 15, was married to another man at the age of 18 and divorced at the age of 21'.

'It has come to light that Mica Miller struggled with mental illness, specifically bipolar disorder, which, when not properly managed, led to paranoid episodes and self-destructive behavior,' he said.

Long claimed 'some reports made by her in the recent past are nonsensical' in reference to her claims recorded in police documents.

Long added that Mica's death being ruled a suicide by police 'completely exonerates Pastor Miller of any wrongdoing'.

Mica's sister Sierra Francis told NewsNation she probably meant Miller groomed her since 2010, as her sister told her it began when she was 14 or 15.

Another video showed Mica seemingly addressing close friends and family, alluding to her struggles before her death.

'I've had to keep my circle small the past couple of weeks,' she said.

'I'm going through a lot and it's hard, and it's my cross to bear. It is the thing that God has put in my life to deal with.

'I don't want to bring a lot of people into it. When your world is shook up you need to take a pause, I can only pray that more people will take a pause.

'I'm trying to get my priorities straight right now, and that is making sure that my heart doesn't have any unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment.

'Just forgiveness, and hope for the future, and peace because you can't put a price on peace.

'Thank you for all your prayers and support, know that I have to keep my circle really small just now. This is the best way I know how.'

The pastor stunned his congregants last week when, after a service in which he had laughed and appeared entirely at ease, he announced that his wife had died.

Miller, who has a criminal record including multiple counts of aggravated assault and battery to which he pleaded guilty, told his congregation that her death was 'self-induced'.

'You all know she wasn't well mentally and that she needed her medicine and it was hard to get to her,' he said.

Before making the announcement, he asked his flock to stand and instructed them to, 'leave church quietly and don't talk about the announcement here in the building.'

Weeks before her passing, she shared a video speaking about abuse within marriage as claims emerge she was being harassed and was 'afraid for her life'.

She said: 'Today my heart's a little heavy. I've had lots of women that have reached out to me about situations of abuse, and I just want to tell you what a lot of people have told me lately, because I think I forgot.

'But you are the bride of Christ before anybody else's, male or female, it doesn't matter what gender you are, abuse is abuse.'

Court records hint at the tumult within the marriage with Mica first filing for divorce in October 2023 before withdrawing the filing February 12.

Later that same month Miller filed against his wife for Separate Support and Maintenance in a motion withdrawn March 11.

But on April 15, just 12 days before she was found dead, Mica filed once more and, according to friends, also sought a no contact order against her husband.

An obituary penned by him also described his wife as 'a great stepmother, and an amazing wife and helpmate' and portrayed her as his biggest cheerleader.

Miller had called authorities before taking her own life, telling them: 'I'm about to kill myself and I just want my family to know where to find me'.

Family and friends have insisted that Miller did not take her own life, her sister Sierra Brown previously told DailyMail.com that 'there's still an open investigation'.

Friend Allicia Young, who is a member of the Solid Rock Church alongside her husband Kenn, said: 'I absolutely do not believe that she took her own life.'

'I absolutely do not believe that she took her own life because she was energetic and her faith in God was unwavering,' Allicia said on Banfield.

'She was always quick to encourage somebody else, including myself. We went to lunches together, we worked out together.'

Evidence released by Robeson County Sheriff's Office as part of their investigation conclusively shows Miller plotting to end her life.

A still from a Ring doorbell shows her on her front porch at 11am on the day of her death.

Just over an hour later, a surveillance image shows her entering Dick's Pawn Shop where she purchases a fire arm.

Shortly after, Miller's black Honda was observed traveling on Highway 501 near Four Mile Road in, Conway, South Carolina on the way to the state park.

Once there she called 911 to provide instructions to a dispatcher on where her body could be found.

Meanwhile a waitress claims Pastor Miller was sending her flirty messages while his wife planned to kill herself, including calling her 'super hot' and asking for 'bikini pics.'

Pastor Miller has since been released of his ministerial functions at Solid Rock at Market Common Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
