Motley Crue co-founder Nikki Sixx and his wife Courtney have revealed that a stalker, who they claim has been harassing them for eight years, has finally been arrested.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, shared their joy and relief on social media on Friday as they confirmed that the woman named Vanessa M. Clark from Knoxville, Tennessee had been taken into custody.
The 65-year-old bassist and songwriter explained what had happened in a black and white post on his Instagram story which read: 'Stalker one from Tennesee has been arrested (again) for breaking the restraining order (again) and is also being charged with resisting arrest.
'Been a hard month. Happy to be home with my family. Thank you to my legal team and the court system.'
'She’s threatened the judge, Nikki’s life, Courtney’s life, their daughter Ruby’s life,' an insider exclusively told DailyMail.com. 'She thinks she and Nikki are twin flames and has gotten to cross-examine Nikki in court three times.'

The source continued: 'She was telling him during cross-examination they are twin flames like Bonnie and Clyde or Romeo and Juliette.
'She asked him, "Why is that so hard for you to understand, Nikki? Did you do too many drugs in the ‘80s?"'
Nikki asked 'why did it take so long' in a lengthy Instagram post in which he claimed the woman had been ordered to seek help for her mental health but had refused.
'Laws should be looked at to protect innocent people and stronger laws to help around mental illness,' he wrote. 'This woman was ordered to get mental help and just didn’t do it and then slipped through the cracks.
'She also has a weapon and has been allowed to keep it even after threatening our family with acts of violence.
'The fact that this went on so long could’ve ended in tragedy.'
Courtney, 38, shared the long-awaited good news with fans in an Instagram post which featured a picture of the smiling star throwing a bouquet of flowers in the air.
In the jubilant update, she revealed that the woman - who claimed to be the 'twin soul of Nikki Sixx' on Instagram - had been 'ready to have a shoot out' with the US Marshall as she resisted the arrest.

'Thank you Heavenly Father! Our stalker is in jail!!!!,' the caption began. 'This woman has been harassing, violently threatening and stalking my husband, my daughter and me for the longest 8 years of our lives.'
The mother-of-one continued: 'She has shown zero regard to multiple, multiple court protection orders. We have been begging (even the judge ordered Meta to take down her abusive profile) which they still have yet to do.
'I reported this woman eight years ago to Instagram. Eight years my family has been dealing with this.'
Courtney then admitted having to learn how to shoot a firearm for fear of needing to protect herself from the stalker.
She continued: 'Having to purchase home protection, I had to learn how to shoot a gun. We’ve hired full time security. It’s been hell.
'Last night this stalker resisted arrest and was ready to have a shoot out with the US Marshall’s and The Knoxville Sheriff’s Department.'

The Bouquet Box founder explained: 'She claimed someone would be shot and she wouldn’t go down without a fight.
'Thank you to our incredible men in blue who came to my family’s rescue last night and successful made the arrest even through she resisted no one gotten hurt.'
In her Instagram bio, Vanessa called herself the 'Twin soul of Nikki Sixx'.
She also claimed that her 'court cases were all due to C**tney's jealousy' while boasting that her 'Bio, acct & all it's content ruled legal as my 1st amm then tampered/contempt'.
The troubled fan had more than 1,000 posts which featured lengthy statements in which she accused the legendary rocker and his wife of increasingly strange claims.
In a post shared just one day before her arrest, she spoke about firing her lawyer as she wrote: 'Let's just say, someone out there in that enforcement field knows I've had enough of being bullied/harassed/threatened & I'm thru. They found out the minute I fired that lawyer, I was dead a** serious.'

Nikki first appeared in public with Courtney at a Call of Duty: Black Ops launch party in Santa Monica, California, back in 2010.
Two-years later he proposed to her while on vacation on the Caribbean island of St Bart's. They tied the knot in March 2014 in Beverly Hills.
Renowned for his hard-partying with his band, Nikki has been married three times and has four children.
He shares Gunner, 29, Storm, 24, and Decker, 23, with first wife Brandi Brandt and Frankie-Jean, 18, with second wife Donna D'Errico.
