Netflix fans have slammed a new trailer on the aftermath of the Euro 2021 finals, branding the new show 'unbelievably s***'.

July 2021 was a devastating day for England football fans as the Euros trophy slipped through their hands.

However, the day wasn't only marred by England's loss, as ugly scenes showed hoards of ticketless fans breaching security and forcing their way into the stadium.

According to AIPS reporter Chris Williams, Wembley Stadium's capacity - which was set at 60,000 - was over by 5,000.

After Italy beat England in penalties, images emerged on social media of incidents occurring both outside and inside the stadium as ticketless fans piled in.

While there were also violent scenes in London's Leicester Square as well as Wembley before and after the penalty shoot-out defeat.

On the day police made 86 arrests, including 53 at Wembley, for a number of offences including public order offences, ABH, drunk and disorderly and criminal damage.

F1 driver Lando Norris was also 'left shaken' following the event after her was mugged for his £40,000 watch.

However England fans are not to keen to see Netflix are planning rehash their loss and the violent scenes that broke out afterwards.

Many have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to air their frustration, with one football fan writing: 'We don't want to see this.'

'This looks unbelievably s***,' penned a second, whilst another asked: 'Why do we have to relive this?'

Another queried : 'Can we have a documentary on the Lionesses' success instead please?'

'Shame. When the women’s team brought home gold on home soil for the first time in over 50 years and changed the game going forward,' a third added.

;Maybe we have to wait another year for that as it was in 2022.'

A third said: 'A lot of England fans say they won't watch this! Not interested! Embarrassed probably!'

'I still get a really crappy feeling about that day and it'll be a hard watch, but it's one we need to watch & learn from, it felt like a 1980's riot on Wembley Way,' another quipped.

'Who makes a documentary on an embarrassing sport loss,' a fan queried, while another jibbed: 'Disaster you know. How over dramatic….'

'Not sure what’s worse. The actual subject of the documentary or the terrible commentary during the March,' a user stated.
