Although Derrick Lewis' knockout finish was not shocking to fans, he surprised the audience by mooning them after his win at UFC St. Louis.
The Black Beast scored a third-round knockout over Rodrigo Nascimento in Saturday night's main event at Enterprise Center. After the win, Lewis, 39, took off his shorts, a celebration that has been his signature since his infamous post-fight interview at UFC 229 in 2018.
This time, the fan-favorite took it a step further. After waving his shorts around and using them to fan Nascimento as he rested on the canvas, Lewis threw his cup to the media table and mooned the audience.
After the celebration, fans on social media were split between amusement and disgust at his display.
'There goes half his purse,' one fan suggested. Another reacted by saying: 'What a disgusting act by Lewis.'

With the win, Lewis made up for his loss to Jailton Almerida in November 2023. He also improved his record to 28-12-1 (W-L-NC).
With 23 knockouts in his career, the No. 12 ranked heavyweight extended the record for most knockouts in the UFC with his 15th. After the win, Lewis continued to take jabs at his opponent in his post-fight interview.
'I couldn't let no taxi cab driver from Brazil beat me,' Lewis joked. 'This is my first time ever hearing about the guy.'

When asked who he would want to fight next, Lewis joked about 'getting too old' for fighting despite recently saying he is in his prime.
'S***, what you talking about,' he told Michael Bisping. 'I'm gonna sit my a** down for a second, I'm getting too old for this s***. But I don't know, we'll see.'
'I'm in my prime, but did you see that s***? You don't see too many almost-40-year-olds do s*** like that.'
