A pair of professional psychologists are warning that, despite more Americans' believing Joe Biden is more unfit to be president, Donald Trump's cognitive decline is getting worse.
Senior lecturer at Cornell University Dr Harry Segal and fellow psychologist Dr John Gartner have begun a podcast called 'Shrinking Trump' to, as they put it, 'dissect the reasons for Donald Trump's rapid mental deterioration.'
Gartner even goes as far as accusing Trump - who has consistently denied any cognitive impairment while suggesting Biden doesn't know where he is - of having dementia.
'I always say to people: Look at Donald Trump right now, because that's the best Donald Trump you're ever going to see because dementia is a deteriorating illness and his rate of deterioration is accelerating,' he said.
A pair of professional psychologists are warning that, despite more Americans' believing Joe Biden is more unfit to be president , Donald Trump's cognitive decline is bad and getting worse
Psychologist Dr John Gartner (pictured left) and Dr. Harry Segal (pictured right). have spoken before about their worries regarding Trump's cognitive abilities . The pair have begun a podcast called 'Shrinking Trump' to, as they put it, 'dissect the reasons for Donald Trump's rapid mental deterioration'
Despite having, in their opinion, sounded the alarm on Trump's abilities, they believe the media refuses to cover it.
Gartner wondered: 'I don't know what it will take for the mainstream press to actually ask the question, 'Is there something wrong with Trump's brain?'
'I think, even if he was caught wandering down Fifth Avenue in his pajamas, they wouldn't ask the question,' he added.
Segal lobbed the accusation that many liberals have thrown at Trump: that he has a narcissistic personality disorder and warned that it's all downhill from here.
'It's a disorder that doesn't get better,' he said. 'It gets worse when there's less structure.'
Segal said 'we're going to see... an interaction between the cognitive decline and the personality disorder, both of which are severe diagnoses for anybody, and this is for somebody who never should have been in power in the first place.'
Previously, Segal told DailyMail.com that, while Biden may confuse names and dates, it is more concerning that Trump actually confuses people.
Dr Segal clarified that he has not treated Trump as a patient, but said the ex president's verbal blunders are examples of phonemic paraphasia, the swapping of words for others that sound similar, which can also be an early sign of dementia.

Doctors have previously told DailyMail.com President Joe Biden should take dementia tests because of a pattern of confusion, mix ups and a damning report by Special Counsel Robert Hur that called him a 'well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory'
Gartner previously said on the David Pakman Show that in regards to Trump, a key sign of cognitive decline 'is a lack of awareness that you have cognitive decline when you are making these mistakes and you don't correct yourself because you're not aware you've made a mistake.'
On the other hand, experts say, Biden usually catches and corrects his mishaps, like when he said inflation was tied to 'a war in Iraq' but quickly clarified, 'excuse me, the war in Ukraine.'
There have been, however, multiple occasions when he has not caught his blunders, like when he misidentified Laken Riley, a student allegedly murdered by an undocumented immigrant, or confused the presidents of Mexico and Egypt.

Dr Gartner called the situation 'a tale of two brains,' claiming: 'Biden's brain is aging. Trump's brain is dementing.'
However, it's clear based on polling the American people don't necessarily believe Trump is worse than Biden.
According to a February NBC poll, a total of 76 percent of voters have either major or moderate concerns about Biden, 81, having the necessary mental and physical health to be president for a second term.
A stunning 62 percent of voters in the poll say they have 'major concerns' about Biden's mental and physical health.

Fourteen percent of Americans in the poll cite moderate concerns about Biden's health and fitness and 13 percent share minor concerns. Only 11 percent of voters in the poll said they have no real concerns about the president.
In addition, a majority of Democrats are worried about Biden, as 54 percent shared major or moderate concerns about his physical or mental ability to serve a second term.
Voters are less concerned about former President Donald Trump's fitness.
Forty-eight percent of voters in the poll cited major or moderate concerns about him having the necessary mental and physical health to serve a second term.
Fifty-two percent of voters cited minor or no real concerns with Trump's fitness including 35 percent who said they had no real concerns. Trump is 77.
