Even with people doubting his draft potential, former USC basketball star Bronny James shone brightly at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago.
He impressed in multiple areas - especially when it came to shooting drills on the floor at WinTrust Arena.
James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, went 19-of-25 in the 3-point star shooting drill - good enough to finish Monday in second place overall.
He also did well in movement shooting drills and a full-court dribbling and finishing drill.
This all comes as some draft analysts have cast doubt on the draft prospects of the son of one of the greatest basketball players ever.

James showed impressive skills in his shooting technique as well as his ball handling
Reports indicate that Bronny has not made any backup plans to return to college next year
In an article published in The Ringer, an anonymous NBA general manager remarked that 'Bronny is nowhere near ready' to turn pro and advised him to 'go back to school to develop at his own pace or he risks getting lost in the shuffle, whether or not he's playing with his dad.'
But ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said that after he was medically cleared to play in the league, Bronny would likely go through the draft process rather than go back to college.
'There's not been much if any real leg work done on potential portal stops for him. While he was leaving USC, he left that possibility open,' Wojnarowski explained.
'But NBA teams have seen a good deal of Bronny James. Go back a year to the Nike Hoops Summit in Portland... it was full of NBA executives, they saw him practice, they saw him play in a game, and he played well there. He looked like a legitimate prospect in his draft class.
'But he missed five months after the heart episode and certainly that impacted his season. But he's got a chance here... to show teams his impact.'
Wojnarowski added that it's likely that James will start in the G-League, but that 'the opportunity for him to play in the NBA is there'.
