A Christian YouTube star whose husband was busted for using cheating website Ashley Madison sobbed as she detailed the horror of having to 'relive' his infidelity for the upcoming Netflix documentary - and revealed that the couple is seeing a therapist to deal with their 'fears' about the series.

Back in 2015, popular vloggers Sam and Nia Rader's marriage was rocked after it was brought to light that he had been using controversial dating platform Ashley Madison.

The website, which was launched in 2001, promoted itself as a place for spouses looking to be unfaithful to link up and cheat on their respective partners together.

More than 37 million taken men and women took the bait and joined the site in hopes of getting tangled up under the bedsheets with another married stranger.

And while the company proved to be popular, everything came crashing down when it got hacked in 2015 - and every name that was signed up was leaked onto the web. And of those names was Sam's.

Sam and Nia were recently forced to relive the harrowing events for a new Netflix docuseries entitled Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies, And Scandal, which will premiere on May 15.

In a new video shared to their channel, the couple - who are still together - spoke out about the upcoming show, and Nia broke down in tears as she admitted that having to 'recount details' of her husband's cheating scandal wasn't easy.

The pair also admitted that they were seeking professional help to assist them in handling their immense nerves over it.

During the vlog, uploaded on May 8, Sam explained that they were about to sit down with a therapist provided by the production company to 'talk about their fears' regarding the upcoming docuseries.

He admitted that he and Nia were 'freaking out inside' and second guessing their decision to partake in the show.

'We're kind of freaking out inside, like, what did we do? Why did we do this? Why would we give out all of our personal information for the world to consume,' he told viewers.

'[The therapist] is probably going to make us feel like an idiot for doing this, like, "Why did you even agree to this to begin with? What was going through your head? Are you stupid?"'

The video then showed bits and pieces of their conversation with the therapist.

'I'm feeling hurt again, having to re-say details that I would rather forget,' Nia was seen telling him. 'I've forgiven him.'

Afterwards, Nia began to cry as she reflected on the conversation with the therapist.

'Just acknowledging it all makes me want to cry because it just feels so big,' she said.

But she added that it 'helped' for her to 'express' how she was feeling, as Sam told her, 'As long as we have each other and Jesus, it doesn't really matter.'

Later on in the video, Nia and Sam sat down to watch the first trailer for the upcoming docuseries, and despite their fears, Nia admitted that it looked 'good.'

'That was really interesting, wow,' she said. 'The quality is very good, I wasn't sure what to expect.'

Last week, Sam admitted that he had been unable to sleep and 'super nervous' ahead of the release of Netflix's docuseries about Ashley Madison that he and his wife will appear in.

Sam was forced to face the wreckage that was left in the aftermath of the hacking scandal.

On their combined YouTube channel, Sam And Nia, the couple uploaded another video titled, 'Our Lives Will Never be the Same.... We're coming to Netflix,' on May 4 following the release of the trailer for Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies, and Scandal.

The lovebirds revealed that they were part of the docuseries as Sam confessed that he hadn't been able to sleep because he had been up thinking about their story.

'I haven't been able to sleep for the past couple of days, it's been rough,' he revealed

The couple explained that they first got an email about the Netflix docuseries in February 2022 before telling viewers that they had opened up even more about their journey in their upcoming book, which is set to be released on May 16.

Sam and Nia also shared that they weren't sure how their story would 'play out' on the streaming platform.

'I just don't know how our story will play out, or if it would be portrayed accurately,' he expressed.

The couple also hinted at the docuseries with a previous video titled, 'We're Super Nervous,' just one day before the release of the trailer for the Netflix show on April 30.

Though they did not name the project in that video, they alluded to having 'nerves' about an event their followers would know about 'soon enough.'

'It's almost happening,' Sam says to his wife in the clip, before adding: 'How do you feel?'

Nia then appears to laugh nervously.

'I feel like every day I have to overcome a new [level]... I have to like go through the steps of like why we did this, what was our goal, why did we do it and forget about the nerves that are behind it,' she responded.

'Yeah I keep asking why too,' Sam adds.

'Why was I up for this? What was I thinking?'

Nia continues: 'I'll try to go to sleep and suddenly this new thought pops in my head, a new person seeing it, like having a reaction and I have to talk myself out of caring what that person will think or say.'

Sam then says he 'imagines our phones are going to blow up with just like texts from a bunch of people that we haven't heard from in a long time,' with Nia adding: 'Gosh, I hope not.'

'And for those of you who don't know what's going on, let me just say...,' Sam says.

'Neither do we,' Nia jokes, 'No I'm kidding.'

Going along with her, Sam quips: 'Yeah we don't either. What the heck are we even talking about?'

He then continues: 'So guys you'll know soon enough and when you do come on back over... let us know what we did, why we did it?'

Sam said he was headed off to go camping with their son, Abram, 'but something might big might happen while I'm away, so we're just kind of out here talking with each other, preparing for it, just in case it does happen, we don't know yet.'

'Crap might hit the ceiling fan,' he added.

Later on Nia says: 'If it does, we need to make a decision right now... are we gonna watch it together or are we going to make each other wait.

'I think we should watch it and text each other, I don't want to wait.'

Sam agreed with this stance.

Underneath the video, one fan alluded to the Netflix docuseries coming out.

'I just saw the trailer!!!! I'm honestly so excited! I've been watching for a long time, and remember when everything happened. I'm really proud that you guys can talk about and it and worked through everything and decided to do this documentary! Can't wait!!!!' they said.

'I love being a dad, I love my wife, it was a beautiful marriage but it was also monotonous,' the first man featured in the trailer - who appears to be Sam - said.

'I remember seeing an advertisement. "Life is short. Have an affair." That sounds intriguing.'

The trailer than cut to snippets of other couples who used the site and employees of Ashley Madison.

'Ashley Madison was ahead of its time,' one woman - who was unnamed - said.

Another man - who seemed to work for the company and be on the site - said: 'The vision was to be the largest and only website for married people who wanted to have an affair. When I'd go to trade shows, they'd say, "Who's your biggest competitor?" And I'd say, "The Bible."'

A second woman declared: 'I thought it was a great idea, go on a site, and you're able to tell this stranger your deepest, darkest desires.'

'I signed up with all my real information, which obviously was a stupid decision,' Sam said.

Meanwhile, employees of the company noted that 'security' became a heightened issue - adding that they were 'worried' about it.

'Ashley Madison was a cash cow and then all of a sudden, we got hacked,' one employee said.

In 2015, hackers who called themselves the 'impact team,' stole 32 million records of data from the extramarital affair site.

The hackers demanded that the site be taken down, which didn't happen, and as a result the names of everyone who had been involved in an affair went up for the public to see.

Marriages were destroyed due to the leak as well as lives; the state attorney in Florida was forced to resign and a pastor in New Orleans committed suicide.
