A couple with a 37 year age gap have sent the internet into meltdown by claiming they are expecting their first child together via surrogate.
In a bizarre stunt, grandmother of 18 Cheryl McCain, 63, and her 26-year-old husband Quran from Georgia have announced they will soon be welcoming a baby into the world.
They shared a picture of what they claimed was a positive pregnancy test, which looked more like a Covid test, as well as an apparent scan picture.
The controversial duo first announced their surrogacy journey in 2022, but called it off the following May because their surrogate had breaching her contract by having unprotected sex with her partner.
But after three surrogates were unsuccessful, the pair now claim online that they have finally struck gold with the fourth - sending social media into a tizzy.

After three surrogates were unsuccessful, the pair now allege online that they have supposedly struck gold with the fourth
Detailing their scan where they claim a doctor confirmed the pregnancy, Cheryl said: 'It was an amazing feeling to find out we were going to have a baby.
'We get to start our own family. I am the happiest now than I have ever been before.
'It will make our family so much happier as we will love the baby unconditionally.'
Quran added: 'I cried with tears of joy when I found out. This will be my very first child.
'I have never felt love like this apart from the time I got married to Cheryl.'
'Baby girl or baby boy it doesn't matter. I am having a baby and we are starting our life together,' he quipped.
'Even though Cheryl won't be the biological mother, blood doesn't make you family and she will be the best mom.'
After dropping the bombshell, the couple - who are decades apart in age - revealed the process was filled with 'emotional stress' and impacted their love live.
'I had to save my sperm for the surrogate and we started missing each other's needs,' Quran said.
'We have started working on that now. As soon as we stopped the surrogacy journey we reconnected romantically.'
'We get to start our own family. I am the happiest now than I have ever been before,' Cheryl said
The controversial said the process impacted their love life because Quran had to 'to save sperm for the surrogate'
Although the couple are reportedly over the moon to welcome the baby, many online were seemingly unconvinced by their announcement.
'I wanna know how this is possible like logistically how is this happening,' one queried.
'Is this real?,' a second exclaimed, whilst another quipped: 'My jaw dropped…'
'I don't know what to say, except I hope things work out,' a user added.
Others were quick to congratulate the pair on their most recent announcement, with one penning: 'Oh my God, people ages just a number.
'As long as they love each other leave them alone.'
'Aww how cute!! Hope yall have a cute and healthy baby,' a fan shared.
Another cheered: 'I'm legit so excited for y'all! I've been waiting with y'all! Congrats!!!'
Although Cheryl will not be the biological mother of their reported child, said 'blood doesn't make you family'
Cheryl first met Quran when he was only 15-years-old whilst they were both working at the fast food chain Dairy Queen
People were left divided in the comment section of their announcement video, with many unsure whether to believe if it was real
Cheryl first met Quran when he was only 15-years-old whilst they were both working at the fast food chain Dairy Queen.
They insist there were no romantic feelings at the time, but later hit it off when they met again in November 2020 at a gas station when Quran was 23.
Quran uplifted a crying Cheryl, and the two began meeting bi-weekly to record content together.
The 26-year-old eventually confessed to Cheryl that he had feelings for her and they began an intimate relationship in April 2021.
For the controversial couple their staggering age gap wasn't an issue - but Cheryl's children were less than impressed.
'I have seven kids but I only see one of them as the others do not support our relationship. It hurts me, it hurts me a lot,' she said.
'They were my whole life and all of a sudden I wanted to be married to someone I had fallen in love with and they didn't support that.
'I have 18 grandchildren and I only see three of them.'
Quran proposed to Cheryl on July 31, 2021, and the pair tied the knot in a small ceremony surrounded by two friends the following September.

The pair insist they were not romantically interested in one another when Quran was 15, stating that their romantic relationship began when they met once again when Quran was 23
Cheryl said: 'We didn't invite anyone to the wedding as nobody was there for us.
'It was me, him and our two friends. We left everyone out and we were happy.'
'It made the day very special for us,' Quran added.
'We get a lot of negative comments and we don't care about them. We didn't make it this far caring about what people think about us.
'To keep ourselves happy we stay off the internet - we don't need that negativity.'
