Honolulu in Hawaii is America's most valuable branded city, a new survey has revealed.
The Pacific Ocean paradise scored 82.9 out of 100 among more than 10,000 respondents, according to Brand Finance's index operation.
The capital's iconic scenery, lively urban core, and blend of cultural energy led to its top-of-list placement, just ahead of cities like Orlando and Nashville.
According to the index, Honolulu ranked first by far for those considering a visit, which tracks given the island's famously bustling tourism industry.
Respondents also delivered the city top marks in categories like 'green spaces and recreation,' and cities that 'care about the environment.'

The city's incredible natural beauty ranges from world-famous beaches to stunning, lush greenery that leads up into mountainous terrain popular with hikers and adventure enthusiasts.
It also serves as the so-called gateway to the rest of Hawaiian islands, each replete with waterfalls, jungles, and beaches of their own.
Respondents also said they were interested in investing in Honolulu, working locally there, and studying there - though there are few, if any, world class education programs on the island.
The job-market is dominated by the service industry, including resort work, managing rental properties, and becoming part of the oft-praised culinary scene.
For obvious reasons, the stunning island also ranks as an excellent choice for those working remotely or going on a 'workcation.'
The city of roughly 350,000 people also ranks first in the majority of what the index calls the 'seven attribute pillars,' which are: Governance, Livability, People & Values, and Sustainability & Transport.
The area's downtown district calls itself the most walkable part of the city, and includes attractions like botanical gardens, galleries, the city's own Chinatown, a waterfront marketplace, and the Hawaii State Capitol.

The city extends about 10 miles along the southeastern shore of Oahu Island. The island, despite not being the largest of the eight primary ones that comprise Hawaii, holds about 80 percent of the state's population.
Centuries old maps of the area show a settlement at Honolulu from in roughly 1100.
In the 19th century, the area became an important trading port and center for whalers.
Following the Pearl Harbor attack in December of 1941, Honolulu became a central staging area for the second front of WWII.
It remained a strategic stronghold for the US military through the end of the Vietnam war in 1973.
