Hollywood lawyer and Hunter Biden's 'sugar brother', Kevin Morris, is said to be 'tapped out' of cash after financially supporting Hunter's legal battles over the last four and a half years to the tune of $6 million.
Morris, 61, decided to step in after believing Hunter had little support, but he has since confirmed he is no longer going to continue to lend money to him to fight his battles.
The withdrawal of financial support for the president's son comes at the worst possible time for Hunter, 54, with two trials looming which could end up seeing him serve jail time.
Hunter faces imminent federal trials on gun charges in Delaware starting on June 3 with a second trial three weeks later in California on June 20 on tax charges.

Morris was spotted smoking from a bong on the balcony of his Hollywood apartment last summer said he gave Hunter cash because he feared the recovering addict would relapse
'The reason Kevin got involved financially in the first place was that he could see that no one was going to help Hunter,' said an associate of Morris' said, according to Politico.
'Now, four and a half years later, there's still no help — and now Kevin is completely tapped out. So just when Hunter is facing two criminal trials starting in a few weeks, he has no resources. It's pretty dire.'
In an interview with lawmakers earlier this year, Morris' role in paying Biden's legal bills was made clear.
The pair met in 2019 during dad President Biden’s campaign for the White House.
They quickly developed a close friendship just as Hunter was trying to get his life on track and stay sober.
At the time, Morris helped him get safe housing. He was dubbed Hunter's 'sugar brother' after he agreed to loan the First Son a reported $2.8million to pay off his tax debts and joined his legal team amid criminal and congressional investigations.
But now after four-and-a-half years of shouldering the financial burden, having loaned him more than $6.5 million, Morris is no longer willing to foot the bill.

The development is particularly concerning with Hunter on the brink of two significant legal battles and it is unclear who might pay for witnesses to testify in his defense.
Experts who testify at trials are known to bill upwards of $500 an hour to appear.
The 61-year-old Hollywood attorney is known for his hard-driving tactics and high-profile cases
Hunter's lead defense attorney, Abbe Lowell, who is preparing his first trial on charges that he illegally purchased a gun as a drug user, is believed to have charged between $855 and $1,500 an hour for his services.
Lowell has almost 50 years experience working as a defense attorney and has been prepping for the trial by finding expert witnesses to testify on various topics including drug addiction and forensics - with payments yet to be agreed upon.
Last summer, while Hunter was at Morris' Malibu house, he was snapped on a balcony in plain view of the public street appearing to huff from a white bong, in photos exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com.
The images brough unwanted flashbacks for the First Son, who photographed and videoed himself using copious amounts of drugs including crack cocaine on weeks-long benders for years, material from his abandoned laptop shows.
One of the criminal charges against Hunter is lying on a 2018 federal gun form that he was not an illicit drug user, when he admitted in his memoir to being a crack addict.
It is not clear what substance was in Morris's bong. Recreational marijuana is legal in California

The charges carry a maximum combined 25 years incarceration and $250,000 fine.
Despite hiring top lawyers, they may have a tough time fighting the facts of the case.
In Hunter’s 2021 memoir, Beautiful Things, he admitted to his continued 'full-blown addiction' to crack cocaine in 2018 – the period he bought the Colt Cobra 38SPL revolver.
The federally required Firearm Transaction Record for the purchase asks: 'Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?'
Hunter ticked the box for ‘no’ on the form, obtained by DailyMail.com.
The charges against him were set to be held over as part of a plea deal Hunter struck with prosecutors, in which he would admit to tax crimes for deliberately failing to file and pay his tax bill on millions of dollars of income.
But under scrutiny from a federal judge in July, the plea deal spectacularly fell apart in the courtroom over a controversial clause that would give him blanket immunity for other offenses.
