Jason Palmer, the little known Democratic presidential candidate, who attempted to take on President Joe Biden in the primary has officially dropped out of the presidential race.
'We are officially ending our Presidential Campaign to focus 100% on TOGETHER!' Palmer posted on X late Wednesday. 'We look forward to attending (and potentially speaking at) the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.'
Palmer went on that it was 'an honor connecting with so many wonderful Americans from so many different backgrounds who share a common faith in our democracy.'
The-52-year-old is instead will instead pivot his efforts toward steering the country 'away from polarization and extremes by mobilizing young American voters to elect a new generation of common-sense leaders,' according to his campaign.

The effort will take the form of two organizations TOGETHER! which will focus on engagement and voter registration and TOGETHER! PAC which will be the fundraising component.
Biden swept nearly every Democratic primary contest to date as he runs for reelection, but Palmer did notch up one victory on the president during his short lived campaign.
He won the contest in the U.S. territory American Samoa on Super Tuesday in March and its six delegates even though he never visited the territory before its caucuses, instead campaigning virtually with town halls on Zoom.
Of the 91 ballots cast in the contest, Palmer won 51 while Biden won 40.
The territory is known for going against the grain in Democratic caucuses. Michael Bloomberg won American Samoa during the 2020 primary. It was the billionaires only victory that cycle.

Jason Palmer put nearly $800,000 into his short-lived presidential campaign according to FEC, filings.
Palmer is a business executive and investor who lives in Baltimore and has worked for various companies and nonprofits including Microsoft and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
He is currently a partner at New Markets Venture Partners.
Before dropping out of the presidential race, Palmer was able to add a few more votes for his efforts.
He received just over 11,000 votes in the West Virginia Democratic presidential primary on Tuesday or 11.5 percent.
According to Federal Election Commission filings through the end of April, Palmer put more than $796,000 of his own money into his campaign since its launch in November 2023.
