An officer with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is the subject of an investigation after footage showed him lighting up a cigar while making an arrest.
The video, which was filmed last weekend, sees an officer pinning a man to the ground with his knee while leaning forward to lighter's flame with the cigar in his mouth.
The cop can be seen with one hand on the man's chest while his other is on the cigar.
Other members of law enforcement who were present during the arrest only serve to enable the cop, with one offering up the lighter.

The suspect who is still pinned to the ground makes little effort to free himself while the office indulges in a few puffs of his cigar.
A friend of the suspect can be heard yelling some words of advice.
'Pull your lighter out, bro!' the man shouts, while laughing, before quickly rethinking his strategy.
'No, don't pull it out. They might think you got a gun,' he yells.
The SLMPD's Public Affairs and Information Division is aware of the video and of an internal investigation that has been launched to establish 'what led up to the video and the events that transpired after.'
