Barron Trump's graduation on Friday is by 'invitation only' and his private academy is urging curious onlookers to stay away as Melania fights for her son's privacy.
The youngest son of former President Donald Trump graduates from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, a private school less than 10 miles from the family's Mar-a-Lago home.
Barron is one of 116 seniors graduating, but the ceremony became national news after his father fumed on April 15 'that I can't go to my son's graduation' because of his ongoing hush-money trial in New York. The judge later ruled the elder Trump could attend.
Oxbridge Academy issued a statement this week, saying the ceremony is 'private, by invitation only.' It came as the former first lady has kept herself and her 18-year-old son in a 'tight bubble' behind the ornate gates of Mar-a-Lago.
Security is also expected to be tight with Trump, a former president, in attendance. Secret Service will be on hand to guard the Trump family. Attendees will likely have to go through magnetometers and have their bags searched.
The school also noted there would no classes on its 54-acre campus on Friday specifically so that staff can be 'focused solely on our graduating seniors and the ceremony itself.'
The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 10 am. Last year's graduation ceremony took place outside in the school's massive sports stadium. Students wore blue robes with a red sash embroidered with the letters 'OA.' Parents cheered from the stadium's seats.

Oxbridge also put out a plea for privacy, saying 'we respectfully ask all media to refrain from coming to the school to allow for the safety of our graduates, family members, and other guests in attendance.'
Oxbridge Academy is a college-preparatory school that charges $41,500 a year for high schoolers not on scholarship. Barron transfered to the school after his father left the White House in January 2021. He had attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, during the Trump presidency.
The West Palm Beach school was established in 2011 by the youngest of the billionaire Koch brothers, William I. Koch. Not as politically active as his famous brothers, Koch put $75 million into the academy with the goal of creating a school that would be 'student-first' and bring together children from different soci-economic backgrounds.
Oxbridge has many perks for its students including chef-prepared lunches, an equestrian club and a flight simulator. Students also travel around the world as part of the learning process.
Many graduates go on to Ivy league universities like Brown and Havard.
Donald Trump has revealed his youngest son is weighing what college he might attend. But, he noted, the campus protests have been a factor in that decision.
'He's a senior now in high school, and he'll be going to college. And you know, a lot of, a lot of these choices of colleges are changing because you see what's going on in the last month,' Trump told a Philadelphia Radio Station.
Trump has been critical of the pro-Palestine protests that have turned up on college campuses throughout the nation. He told Time magazine he would call out the National Guard on them.
Barron is considering NYU, the Daily Beast reported, but the school has seen its share protesters and arrests by NYPD.
Donald Trump and many of his children attended Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. There have been rumblings Barron could join that tradition.
The Trump family has made no announcement about where Barron will spend his college years.

Friday will be a busy day for the family and the former president. It's unclear how they will mark Barron's big day. And representatives for Melania Trump and other family members didn't answer multiple inquires by DailyMail.com on the subject.
Their Florida home, the private club Mar-a-Lago, is officially closed for the season although the Trumps can still live there even though the club is not operating.

Donald Trump has another big event on his schedule for Friday: he's slated to headline a 5 p.m. fundraising dinner for Minnesota's Republican Party.
Tickets start at $500, ranging up to $100,000 for a VIP table for 10 with three photo opportunities with Trump. Joe Biden won Minnesota by seven points in 2020 but Trump's campaign argues it's in play.
While Trump has the convenience of his private jet Trump Force One, it's still a four hour flight time with Minnesota one hour behind Florida in time zones.
The former president will need to be in the air by 2 p.m. Eastern Time in order to make the event.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that it's Melania Trump who will be in charge of her son's future as he navigates the transition from his teenage years to adulthood.
'Melania will keep her hand on Barron's future just as much going forward as she has throughout his early and current school years,' a social source told People. 'He is her world. She is proud of him, and she is the primary decision maker on Barron and his future.'

Melania has already demonstrated her motherly might.
Barron, last week, declined the Florida GOP's offer to be a delegate to the Republican National Convention this summer where would be able to help nominate father Donald Trump as the party's presidential nominee.
His mother's office made the announcement.
'While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments,' the Office of Melania Trump told DailyMail.com.
No further details were given.
'He is still young and has a lot in front of him,' said the source. 'She wants him to be happy and settled in his future endeavors. She wants him to pursue what he wants to do. He is smart and has his own opinions but they are still being shaped.'
Little is known about Barron's school life or his post-high school plans.
And that is how Melania prefers it. She is known to be protective of her son, keeping him out of the spotlight even as Donald Trump seeks it.
Even though the 6ft7in teenager physically favors his father, inside he is his mother's child.
'He's so regal. He's a little Melania,' a source close to the couple told DailyMail.com of Trump's youngest son.

Previously, Barron has been the target of social media trolls and other threats.
Former NBC News executive Mike Sington said Barron was 'fair game' turning 18, the birthday that marks adulthood. He later deleted the tweet after facing harsh backlash and criticism online.
The youngest Trump was defended by many of his former first kids, including Chelsea Clinton.
'I think he's a private citizen,' she told ABC's The View. 'I feel so strongly that if you are a private citizen, you have an unimpeachable right to privacy, and I think the media should leave him alone.'
And, last year, a Chicago woman was arrested for making death threats against Barron.
But Donald Trump revealed Barron likes politics and enjoys giving his father advice.
'He's really been a great student. And he does like politics. It's sort of funny,' the former president told 'Kayal and Company' on Philadelphia's Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.
'He'll tell me sometimes, 'Dad, this is what you have to do,'' he added.
Barron has been at some political events but absent from others.

The former president also complimented his 6ft7in son's looks.
'He's a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he's a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy,' Trump said.
Barron, who turned 18 last month, returned to the spotlight with Donald Trump's hush-money trial when the former president argued he should be allowed a break from trial to attend Barron Trump's May 17 high school graduation.
Judge Juan Merchan agreed to allow the break in the trial, where Donald Trump faces 34 felony charges of falsifying business records in order to hide a payoff to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

She is still in mourning.
