My family is being bullied by a gang of 11-year-olds - it's embarrassing and RUINING my life

Sometimes the most terrifying gangs are the smallest ones - in this case, literally.

A mom-of-three has admitted she and her young family have been completely terrorized by a gang of pre-teens at their local park - and she's not sure what to do about it.

'There is a small gang of kids (about 11 to 12 years old) who are bullying me, hubby, and other adults at the park behind my house,' the unnamed woman shared to a post on Reddit on the Parenting thread.

According to the mom, who lives in Alberta, Canada, the tweens 'openly and loudly mock us, swear at us, call us names, goad us, and throw things at us or spit at us.'

'They've been known to hit kids and teens as well,' she added in the post shared earlier this week titled: 'This is embarrassing, but what do I do???'

'They know we can't retaliate. They've made us aware they are "untouchable."'

The mom complained her three small children love the park and they spend a lot of time there - but that their trips have recently been overshadowed.

'We've been there every nice weather day for the last 1.5 years,' she wrote in the post.

'But now hubby doesn't want to go anymore because of these hooligans,' she continued in disbelief.

'What do we do?'

Hundreds of parents commented on the post, some suggesting she tries to contact the parents of the pre-teens.

'I believe they have a single mom who is overwhelmed to be honest. So I don't know if mom can help,' the concerned Reddit user responded.

Others suggested the mom goes to the police before the situation gets completely out of hand and they start physically harming people.

'Being a single mom isn't an excuse for raising children to be a**holes. I know plenty of single moms, my own included, who taught their children how to behave respectably and provided consequences when they weren't,' one reader shared.

'As an overwhelmed single mom, please tell this woman how her kids are acting,' suggested another.

'I would be mortified and the problem from where you are standing would be immediately over.'

'If you want to go above and beyond to be "nice" then fine you can go to the mom and just give her a heads up if it keeps happening you're calling the cops on the kids It's up to her to get a handle on them,' someone else chimed in.

'If she can't, that's on her. You call the cops next time.'

Another assured the mom that the kids are not 'untouchable by any means.'

'They are very likely "under-parented" but beyond saying mean things they are causing or attempting to cause physical harm,' they added.

'You call the police,' someone else urged. 'ESPECIALLY since this is a pattern of repeat behavior. Yes it sucks, but you call and do so every time you see them harassing people at the park.'
