A mother has recalled the horrifying moment she allegedly realised the door on a ferris wheel was 'open' while riding the attraction with her young son.
Chloé Hennessey, 29, decided to take her two-year-old son Wolf to the Adventure Island theme park in Southend-on-Sea last weekend, when she claims the 'City Wheel' door opened.
The mother, from London, alleges that her son spotted the issue while the pair were high in the sky - and she captured the moment of terror on video.
The clip shows Wolf as the ferris wheel begins to rise, and he then appears to point out that the carriage door isn't close.
Chloé then gasps, pulling the two-year-old away from the door.

She claims she was forced to hold the door shut while the wheel reached a height of 36 feet, with the pair on board for around 15 minutes.
MailOnline has contacted Adventure Island for comment.
'My heart literally dropped and I instantly felt sick to my stomach, and filled with anxiety and fear,' she said.
'I tried to remain as calm as I could for Wolf, otherwise it could’ve been a lot worse.'
When the wheel finally descended, Chloé was able to grab the attention of a staff member.
She claims that, after she showed them that the door was not properly closed, they rushed over to let her and Wolf off the ride.
Chloé said: 'They could see I was shaking and had been crying.
'Staff advised me to report it to the customer service desk, which I did.'
